I've only ever experienced that as a joke from people I know, on occasion anyway.
Sounds very unfortunate but also bizarre if strangers are doing that to you.

Without all the information it's just as likely OP is just being targeted for any dumb reason by one or a few bored players

I'd keep reporting them since it is griefing. If you want to just avoid it entirely, yeah, the /busy option is probably the only option. Only problem is that status blocks other things, too.

I do that to my friends and rarely because most the time I just forget haha it's harmless annoying for sure but to get spammed you OP must have done something

I started in March 2016 and back then this was a thing. On Phoenix at least.
But I haven’t seen this since a few years ! Oo

I'm losing my mind here. I'm so sick and tired of people opening trade and canceling my teleport. I just missed a train today because of someone doing it. I'm sick and tired of having to report every time some knuckle dragger thinks it's funny. Why is this even allowed? Why have the devs not fixed this yet after more than 10 years of this game being live? I pretty much report every time it happens, and people still do it. Is square not even penalizing people that do it?

Why have I never heard of this?
