    Please remove the accelerated checkpoint clearance just before overtime

    When there is less than 2 minutes left in CC games, clearing checkpoints can be done under 5s. This often means that if your team, that has been winning up until now, but lost its last engagement and is now all staggered, doesn't have enough time to regroup and recover and has to suicide push the crystal to prevent a loss.

    I don't know why this feature exists but it feels incredibly frustrating and almost like cheating. Please remove it and make it fair all across the board. If the fear is that games take too long, then perhaps it's your overtime system that extends too long, and could perhaps need systems like the Culling to make a comeback.

    Isn't that is the UNO mechanic that community asked for since the Feast?

    The Culling in Feast was a damage vulnerability applied to everyone and increasing as time went by.
    Personally I don't care about long overtimes, it means a game is proving especially gritty and even, and it tends to generate great moments though. I'm just annoyed at the accelerated checkpoint mechanic.

    Yeah, personally I prefer the old overtime iteration for similar reasons as you described. I can understand why it felt too long for some players but I think working with a simple time limit (which they have already implemented) instead of the check point mechanic could prove sufficient if the limit is appropriately chosen? I don't remember atm what the current time limit is, but you could pick (for example) 3/4/5 minutes (no idea what would be the best value here) and after that there's just a hard stop. Then whoever has more progress according to the existing rules wins because I think they are already set up the way that they avoid a tie scenario?

    The thing is, the checkpoint mechanic being accelerated under 2min on timer before overtime has been there since day 1 of crystalline conflict and it sucks.
