When normal Friendsystem?

How can it be that in 2025 there is still a game in which you have no control over who has you on their friends list. When will we finally get a normal friend system and this old stalker system will finally be scrapped.
This is really a deal breaker!

Use our sub money for the ppl that play the game, for usefull systems and not for producing fail games!

It's deliberate, according to them. If you see people removing you from their friend list, it may be upsetting. And people probably do it a lot just to clean their friends list, either to keep it to a small number they can manage, or to keep within the 200 limit.

I think however that if you actually add someone to your blacklist that it should remove them on both ends, because at that point there is obviously something really bad going on.

it won't get changed. SE unfortunately does not care. this is something plenty have complained about for almost a decade, potentially more. along with their blacklist mistake implemented in 7.0, I've unsubbed. they just don't care and it's unacceptable.

How are we in 2025 with many of the things in this game being designed the way they are.

I will say money or budget isn't a problem with many of these things.. It's just the silly decisions and overall self-inhibiting design that they elect to go with in this game.

They do need to update the friends list so that way if you remove someone for various reasons you should be removed from there list also. But of course they won't implement that because yoship doesn't want the person you remove to have there feelings hurt if they find out you remove them from your friends list. It's sad that even ff11 the older brother to ff14 and is going on 23 years old has a better block/friends removal system.

The friends list system in FF is nothing more than a search option. You can use the search player system for any player. AFAIK you cannot add someone to an account. It is only on a per character basis.

In addition to the privacy concern, they also load very badly. Takes 69 million years to load and even then, STILL requires you to manually update online status for players beyond first page. One.by.one.
