Can you elaborate? Do you mean the issue of there being different strats in PF groups, or the CODCAR discord? I gave up on the chaotic raid after 60 party finder attempts, didn't make it much further than 50% hp on phase 2.

What is the reason you're still subbed?

At this point, mostly because I enjoy hanging out with my FC and have certain obligations to finish what I've started. I've drastically cut down on my playing time though, from a little bit most days of the week to, at most, a few hours two or three days a week.
Been a WHM main since ARR release and have been toughing it out through all the ups and downs and while I'm enjoying the slight increase in busyness in (the first run of) the new dungeons, I'm growing tired of spamming glare/holy.
Not to mention the DT story didn't jibe with me, so my breaking point will probably be 8.0 if the story continues downhill there. It may sound silly to some, but my non-enjoyment of the story dampens my enthusiasm for the rest of the game.

Friends mostly, sometimes I just enjoy logging in after work, and chatting with friends while semi-AFK or running some maps with my FC.

Like others have said though, I've also really cut down on my playing time (I used to play FF as my main game daily for hours, running all roulettes plus other content etc). Now it's maybe one hour at most every day or so, and usually longer on Friday/Saturday evenings. It's nice to log in and just see what's going on/who's online etc, but the "urge" to play has completely disappeared since I completed DT's story - the game just doesn't grab my attention like it used to :/

Community, friends, pvp... and emotional attachment (+ house and subs).

SE has been attacked for not having enough grinds causing people to be bored, and you expect that they won't add one? The only other thing they'd likely do is make it something you finish in one day.

It's almost like there is only this binary choice between a big tedious grind or a nothing burger, right?

7.0 -> level up + M1s-M4s prog&reclears
… unsub 4 months
7.1 -> my static started FRU prog january 5th
… depending on the number of FRU reclears my static wants to do i’ll unsub 1 or 2 months before 7.2

friends, fc, rp, houses, running dungeons solo, collecting obscure old glams and awaiting to see if those ever will be dyeable (probably not but who the heck knows?), pvp
i'd love to even raid again. but i find the direction to which raiding in context of statics has shifted sucks, so it is what it is. or then it is just me.

He complained alot about getting kicked out of groups, that people checked how many clears he has etc etc etc etc thats probably what he meant

Still subbed for PvP and Treasure maps.
I'd stop if they introduced some changes to PvP that made it unbearable to play on a regular basis.

I am progging FRU and having a blast. Also, I still have to finish Chaotic (only joined 3 parties so far but now I need BiS for FRU).

I've had my subscription renewing every 180 days for almost two years now and I've got no plans to stop that. Even when there's periods in which I don't play more than 2-3 hours per week, I still get the more than £45 worth of value in any 180 day period and never feel forced to stop the next renewal.
