Community toxicity, arguments over strats, 1-2 pull disbanded or just general flame wars in the chat. Also for some reason. Ppl have pride issue over being asked to take a melee bait or use silence

1.) FFXIV is my "digital home," in my mind.
2.) My character is my digital self, despite having existed in other forms in other games (even prior to her mi'qote incarnation, here). This is canon Aniramil, now.
3.) I will part with my medium house in Shirogane over my dead body.
4.) I don't want to fall behind on the high tomestone gear treadmill.
5.) The sum total of feelings that this game has made me feel over the years (though basically none of those feels have come in Dawntrail).

But to be honest, I am SO EXTREMELY BORED and have a hard time convincing myself to even log in to cap my high tomestones, most days. I also have historically run either the 8-man normal raid content or the alliance raid content each week to get drops before the loot lock is lifted, but Jeuno right now is just... ugh. It's not fun to do AND the gear is not aesthetically pleasing, so I basically have to force myself into that each week as well.

This is very melloncolly and reminds me how I'm starting to feel. My saving grace is the few friends I have in game I see on a d2d basis aswell as my boyfriend who keeps me sane throughout the patches. He's quit for now, but he likes watching me stream my codcar farms or pvp matches.
