What is the reason you're still subbed?

My subscription ends in 4 days. I always hoped that Yoshi P. would come to his senses but I don't think that will happen. All this ultra modern, super realistic glamour.
Bad decisions regarding jobs, MSQ and so on. The time between patches is too long and there is far too little content for this long wait.
The worst decision was replacing the WoL with Wuk Lamat and giving the WoL a supporting role in which the WoL has almost nothing to do.
My passion was always the MSQ and PvP and what else is there left when both are just bad?

To be honest? I love my girl. It has taken 11 years, but as a hrothgal I finally feel like my character is in the right skin. Yes, DT sucks donkey doo. But I love her, so I enjoy logging in as her, even if its gathering/crafting.

I'm still subscribed because, I.... I don't know, actually, probably because I'm waiting to purchase Hilda's Hair from the Mog Station.

2.) My character is my digital self, despite having existed in other forms in other games (even prior to her mi'qote incarnation, here). This is canon Aniramil, now.
3.) I will part with my medium house in Shirogane over my dead body.
4.) I don't want to fall behind on the high tomestone gear treadmill.
5.) The sum total of feelings that this game has made me feel over the years (though basically none of those feels have come in Dawntrail).

But to be honest, I am SO EXTREMELY BORED and have a hard time convincing myself to even log in to cap my high tomestones, most days. I also have historically run either the 8-man normal raid content or the alliance raid content each week to get drops before the loot lock is lifted, but Jeuno right now is just... ugh. It's not fun to do AND the gear is not aesthetically pleasing, so I basically have to force myself into that each week as well.

Community toxicity, arguments over strats, 1-2 pull disbanded or just general flame wars in the chat. Also for some reason. Ppl have pride issue over being asked to take a melee bait or use silence

This is very melloncolly and reminds me how I'm starting to feel. My saving grace is the few friends I have in game I see on a d2d basis aswell as my boyfriend who keeps me sane throughout the patches. He's quit for now, but he likes watching me stream my codcar farms or pvp matches.

More seriously... I'm still subbed because I'm still doing stuff in the game. There are half a dozen mini games to play when MSQ is over. Once I get all my jobs to 100, I'll probably tackle BLU again since I never finished Masked Carnival. Get it to 80 and get the handful of spells I'm still missing. I've been having fun catching up on missing mounts in older content as well. Just missing Diamond gwib... I'll get it soon! SOON!
