I think 1x Youtube video showing the new game running isI really don't understand what the big deal is for wanting to see gameplay so bad that it's ruining everybody's week. We've just seen a boatload of very telling screenshots that will tell us so much more than some 3 minute video of some quest being completed. The majority of impact that live gamplay will give us current players is how responsive the interface and battle system is as compared to 1.0. You cannot gauge that responsiveness from a game you are watching and not playing. Therefore, wait until you can get a hand's on, and you will get a much better experience than watching some youtube video.
proof enough for many of us thats been waiting for 2years.
Its been a long road up until now, all we been told over this
time period is promises and just recently a few "Screenshots".
The current player base needs to feel secure of what we are waiting for.
I think just that "crappy" quality video did alot to ease that long wait.
Even the new screenshots.
It's just shameful, that more than 90% of the fanbase is still stuck watching an
"Unofficial" video of the gameplay, because of some BS marketing campaign.
I never thought anyone would treat their fans in such lousy way.
Right now that Teaser site looks pretty pointless at this time.
but, i still wanna thank the posters of that video & screenshots.
Even from the poor quality, 2.0 looks convincing enough atleast for me.
I'll thank them when im actually in the 2.0 game, back home on the
server i more or less was forced to move away from.
Edit:
I was gonna show my friends this video, but hey... wth am i suppose to tell them?
- Hey, check out this new "Crappy Quality" FFXIV 2.0 gameplay video...
Um ya... for some reason i doubt i'll convince em with that.
An official 1080p Video on the Teaser Site would have been awesome right about now.

This must be mistranslated or something. We are supposed to get a FLOOD of information and WEEKLY updates??And for those of you who are wondering about Yoshi-P’s scheduled presentation and real-time demonstration, unfortunately we do not have any plans at the moment to release videos or to do a live broadcast. We will however be releasing information through various media interviews, so be sure to watch out for them.
