Save & load premade housing setups

It would be nice if you could save/load housing interior setups but in 2 parts per floor.
So when you enter a mansion for example, you could save the left side of the floor and right side of the floor separately and load a saved setup for each side while doing this for each floor separately. This system would apply in all houses whether it's a small, medium or large house... The left and right side of each floor would be stored separately and you would be able to give each plan a name.

It would make it easy to test various things and perfect the best combo's without having to redo it every single time you move your house to another location.

I’d settle for just saving layouts per floor, and let apartments/FC rooms have it too. It is frustrating to want to try new things but then thinking about how much effort it would take to get it back to the way you had it if you don’t like the new idea! lol

Yes please! It's really sad when you have spent so much time on furnishing your interior and then you have to throw everything out without a chance to get it back (because often you won't really be able/or remember to place everything just like it was before). It really prevents you from trying different things if you like your current design a lot.
Considering how some people have turned this into a real artform (not me, but some designs blow my mind) it would be nice if that work could be saved as a loadable layout.

I don't mind if it only saves the house as a whole (all floors) either as long as it can be preserved somehow.

And another thought, this is something that would be very helpful when using the new interior remodeling, which forces you to put everything into storage before you can change your house’s interior theme.

I never fill my storage and I strongly advice everyone else to also keep it open in case you want to relocate your house.

This would be so awesome! It could be like a glamour plate but for houses.

Right now I feel kind of discouraged to experiment much with my house/apartment because of the work it would take to get it back to how it was before if I don't like the changes.

Not if you are on console though I guess? Also, even if you can find inofficial workarounds it would be nice if ff14 itself had these QoL features to make the game itself better.

Yep, most of them exist because of something XIV should do but doesn't.
