To be honest I do believe they still get feedback, just that some departments care more / less (homogenizing being one that has been ignored for a long time). I have posted walls before and then felt something akin to it entered the game later.

Hell they used to respond to some of them in the 1.0 era lol.

Patch 7.2 is supposed to mark the beginning of battle content revamp, so that they can "rework" every job in 8.0. They'll probably just introduce one new RNG mechanic per Savage fight, where a few players might lose uptime for 5 seconds, and call it revolutionary.

Fingers crossed for some interesting changes, hope jobs gain some class fantasy and unique elements that can make you love one job and think wistfully for another. "Ooh id love to play this job, but oooh damn that job is so good too". For the most part I don't feel that and don't normally care outside of visual theme.
