Has this happened to anyone else?

I had gone to moghome and saw I hadn't started the moogle crafting quests yet I hadn't done any of the side quests. So I fly over to start the quest but see he has 3 other side quests and do those and all the other side quests. Now there are more quests in the area and the quest starter is no where to be found. Please note I only want to know if something similar has happened to anyone. This is not a bug complaint for I don't care enough.

"To unlock the Moogle Daily Quests, players must complete level 50 quest Tricks and Stones (speak to Seething Stonemason in The Churning Mists (x27,y34)). Tricks and Stones is only unlocked after a long chain of side quests. These side quests are marked with the Side Quest yellow icon, not the meteor icon nor the blue feature icon."

In other words, you should do all the sidequests in The Churning Mists, as well as all the sidequests in Ishgard.

You also must have completed the Into the Aery MSQ quest to see Tricks and Stones.

For an easier time, the side quests that are part of a longer chain (which typically unlock stuff like that), have a proper picture in the quest info window (where you accept / decline), similar to MSQ quests.

Oh okay thanks I still have a few in ishgard to do but I appreciate the help I really did give it up as a bad job.

There is a very easy way to tell the normal side quests from the quests that open up the Moogle tribe quests.

Go to the Churning Mists, change to a crafter job, and open the map. All the normal side quests disappear (since they are fighter quests), while the current quest for the Moogle tribe is still visible. You cannot do this quests as a crafter (you still have to fight), but this is a very easy way to find out what to do next to finally activate the Moogle crafting quests.
