Most players don't clear high end content thru Discord or Forums they do it thru PF with a guide, so no.Hi,
I've recently seen a lot of people using SIM (Reddit/Discord/Forums) for FRU
Si I've been asking myself if SE should scale high end content (savage & ultimate) with the usage of SIM in mind ? I want harder content (Neither I nor my static are using SIM) and sadly FRU/M1s-M4s feels way easier than DSR/P1s-P4s. So players like me who wants harder content will be happy, and others players could use SIM to make fights "easier".
The obvious answer is no, as console players do not necessarily have a PC, but we could also say that for all 3rd party tools available for PC players.
What do you think about it ?
I don't usually toss out tvtropes links but they have some pretty good examples of bad design or implementation being artificial difficulty. Plus have you never heard someone complain about the camera angle in a platformer? That generally isn't how the term is used though. You're using the term to describe things that are not intended sources of difficulty but unintentional difficulty created by poorly designed systems. The term is generally used to describe an intended source of difficulty that someone doesn't like for some reason. I've heard bosses having a lot of HP described as artificial difficulty. Mechanics that are too complex. Content not having checkpoints. Body checks. Something that requires the player to react quickly. AI opponents in Civilisation being given bonuses on higher difficulty settings to account for the fact that their decision making isn't as good as a real human opponent. Essentially any time a player doesn't want to develop the skill required to meet a challenge, they'll just slap an "artificial difficulty" label on it because it's easier than admitting that it's a skill issue.

What on Etheirys is 'SIM'?
Why wouldn't they be? As long as the region actually agrees to a strategy I see why not. Some people still enjoy the content but either don't have enough free time to be able to be in a static or their schedule is flexible. Like this, they can go in PF when they are in the mood and/or have free time.
I still wish we would stop making a million variations and we would be able to to actually QUE for re-clears the way JP does.
SE designs all content with PF in mind. Keep in mind that JP uses the duty finder as the primary method of completing content.
LPDU and NAUR made it possible by standardising strats. That's it. There was nothing inherently un-PFable about Ultimates besides the fact that every group used different strats.

it's someone intentionally obfuscating the meaning of the word "sim" by typing it in all caps like it's an acronym. it's just a simulation of a specific mechanic to be able to practice it without having to go through 8 minutes of fight before it.
