Perhaps it should be on SE to try something different in terms of encounter design, or to add more features to the game.

For example, SE could provide better mechanisms for restarting an encounter from a particular point in time. If extremes, savages, and ultimates are embellished retellings of what "actually happened," then restarting an encounter from some point in the middle is simply, "Wait, what was I saying? Let me pick that up again."
