You mean they believed him?If I remember right, there was a moment in Fanfest 2017 (Frankfurt) where the audience actually asked for buttsliders. Yoshi-P said they could implement it, but it would warp graphics. And asked the crowd if they truly wanted butt sliders.
A rather uncomfortable silence followed, lol.
Keep in mind, that was over 7 years ago now, so I can't remember all the details, even as I was sitting in the audience that day. It felt more like silent shame to me, to be honest, like people expected Yoshi-P to deflect, not say "well we can if you are truly enthusiastic about butt sizes". Though, that was just my personal impression of the situation, so who is to say what really went through peoples heads.

Just sounds a bit like the deal with hats and clipping. And glamour dressers. Something something netcode.
Aren't most people enthusiastic about butt sizes? Back in my day we were. But times change, and I don't get out much.
I'm going to assume most people who were enthusiastic have just resorted to using mods instead of waiting for CS3 to do anything about it, just like with Viera/Hrothgar hats.
