    Constant 90006 errors

    Hi. I've recently experienced quite a lot of 90006 errors in instanced duties, e.g. chaotic alliance raid or Frontlines. A precursor to this error is when everyone else stops moving while my character still could, and the cooldowns or combo actions of my abilities are not properly triggered.

    During this issue, I tried to ping the NA data center and occasionally get "request timeout"; similar outcome when I tracert.

    This has been quite often since the release of Patch 7.15 and has rarely happened before. Today (Jan 23) I played 2 frontline games at roughly 5:30pm-6:30pm PST, and have had 90006 issues as described above throughout the games. I was disconnected 4 times or so.

    ISP: TELUS-FIBRE-VANCBC05
    Location: British Columbia, Canada
    Wired connection, no VPN
    Game is Windows version

    Well, actually this is a constant problem with this game. Error 9006 or 9002. Developers have been unable to do anything about this for years. Yes, today there were errors 9002 very often in HoH solo. Another series of loss of progress and mood. Moreover, I play on a Japanese server. So just ignore it. Lost connection with the server - they will never solve this.

    The 90006 errors have essentially made me unable to play since the release of the 24 man raid. I can't stay logged in long enough to clear; I think I've only cleared once, maybe twice. Through all the research and traceroutes and pathpings I've done, only using a VPN has allowed me to play without disconnects. Unfortunately I cannot justify paying for an additional service to play the game, so I've just had to step away from XIV. It sucks because I just reupped for a year, but such is life.
    If you really want to play, VPNs will work (there's a bad node in San Fransisco that just eats connection) to bypass the problem points.
