My sub ran out a week ago and not missing the game at all, FF14 was my "hop in when I cant think of playing anything else" game but that live letter where costs were mentioned pushed me over the edge and I uninstalled that day.
Though found myself re-installing and just refreshing my large house timer "just incase" as well as getting a gil mount for my best friend to remember me by.
It's been interesting when you still freshly remember FFXIV and its community and when you've actually disconnected from it, so many treat it as if its not a option to leave, that something bad will happen if they do, what if SE changes their mind etc... I read posts and its like people dont see leaving as even a considerable option.
At the end of the day its just a game run by a corporation who doesnt care about you.
Long gone are the days where integrity mattered for the 14 team. Now its just merch, bare minimum and trying to squeeze money for tactics and ff9 remake and probably some other failures I hope nobody buys as a form of protestMy sub ran out a week ago and not missing the game at all, FF14 was my "hop in when I cant think of playing anything else" game but that live letter where costs were mentioned pushed me over the edge and I uninstalled that day.

The difference is just so palpable when a game is made out of love.
You can't post on the forums without an active sub though. My sub ran out a week ago and not missing the game at all, FF14 was my "hop in when I cant think of playing anything else" game but that live letter where costs were mentioned pushed me over the edge and I uninstalled that day.
