why is ever crisis getting a FF7 crossover event and not us?

we've gotten a FF 13/15/16 crossover but still no 7 crossover

bring on the FF7 crossover give us tifas hair, aeriths dress, and barrets arm gun

while i was relistening to the ost i was thinking about this. and about what we could get, since they said they wont disturbed the ff7r team right now. but i want the next expansion to be based on 7, much like this is based on 9. We could get a nice dark gritty setting, awesome battle themes (let the battle begin!!) for dungeons and i want to see Ultima used in place of Jenova,. and a sephiroth style
antagonist would be a great villain for the next expansion. sol.9 feels like proto midgar and i want the actual thing to be completely explorable! midgar zolom could make for a great trial boss

i think an ff7 themed expansion could also tackle difficult questions of social hierarchies, climate change and mental health issues (god i love if OUR wol was given some of the same character development cloud gets) and many of these write themselves which could be even easier on the writers and although i was originally numb to it.. screw it.. just give us SOLDIER

Ever Crisis is directly connected to the 7R series through characters in the First Soldier storyline. It also has retellings of the OG and Crisis Core that are ongoing stories. It's completely VII related, so why wouldn't it get crossovers with Rebirth?

The entire trial series in Shadowbringers was one giant FFVII reference. It has been a while but you can't say we don't get FFVII content. I think if they are going to do a limited crossover event like the OP mentioned, then they might save it for FFVIIR part 3.

OKAY, THATS FUNNY. but tbh. i am a shameless ff7 whale. i love 7.. it was my first ever ff. i love cloud.. he broke my standards of men...completely! i love crisis core and cried at the end.. zack is so lovable.. and i only tried KH1 because of cloud and sephiroth being in it (some which which im glad i did because i love kH) there is a recipe to 7 that is guaranteed to succeed. i don't know if its because of how cool the world is, how attractive the characters are or the intensity of the writing.. so long as ff7 content is released that is true to these themes i will always consume it.. forgive me i am part of the problem XD

I'm fairly certain Yoshi-p has spoken about a FF7 crossover, but wants the remake to be completely finished first.
So it'll come out in 80 years.
