Can we get an official FFXIV account on Bluesky

Bluesky is a quite political and far-left website, born from Twitter/X being purchased after the Twitter file scandal.

It seems an awful website for any professional to use. (I think X isn't great either).

As a business however, whatever makes SE/CSIII money I'm sure they'll be inclined to invest in. A small account on all social smaller media whether it be Bluesky or Parlor etc would increase reach for them.

Let’s call it what it is. Every platform has some political agenda driving it. X, Bluesky, Facebook… none of them are neutral. They all have leadership with opinions, moderation policies with bias, and communities that tend to lean one way or another. Thinking you’re escaping that by switching platforms is an illusion. You’re not avoiding the bias; you’re just picking the one that aligns more closely with what you already think or feel comfortable with.

It’s the same with these forums and even Reddit. Every space has its own echo chamber, with different rules and voices getting amplified. So instead of pretending there’s some “perfectly neutral” place to be online, maybe it’s more honest to admit that we’re all just choosing the version of the internet that feels least annoying, or most validating to us. That’s not bad, but let’s not act like one platform is completely pure while the others are tainted. They all have their angles.

I don't like blue sky much but i hate using twitter ever since it force recommends me elon tweets (despite me blocking him) ai porn and constant political garbage no matter how many people i block, so i'll take it

Enjoy your janky app that barely functions. Nothing about that app is pleasant. You can barely foster a good gaming timeline on it because even if you mute everything political, it's just post after post of folks screaming "We hate fascists!" "We hate Trump!" "Musk is a boogeyman!"
