Can we get an official FFXIV account on Bluesky

As the title says, can we get an official FFXIV account on Bluesky? "X" isn't exactly a great platform and I don't feel like using it (or any Meta owned platform while we're at it) to have an official feed. Having the choice to follow on Bluesky would be great for those of us not wanting to support one of Elon Musk's businesses.

Well, my guess would be that Bluesky is only a thing because all the people who couldn't tolerate others opinions on X had to create a new echo chamber.

Bluesky is just an echo chamber for fragile people who want reddit levels of moderation because anytime someone disagrees with them they see it as a personal attack.

An official account there is not needed.

Nothing, the average IQ on Bluesky is probably 10 points higher than 2025 Twitter

But Bluesky also has the exact same vibes as 2016 Twitter so that doesn't say much.

HackerNews is the only social media I browse where it isn't an echo chamber and also isn't full of 60 IQs yelling into the aether.

I'd honestly take cringe Resist libs (who are everywhere on BlueSky right now) over modern Twitter, that's how bad Twitter is now.

My experience with bluesky is less people wanting their own echo chamber, and more people who are tired of the algorithmic feeds of meta and twitter and wanted a reprieve of the randos and bots showing up in the comments making assumptions and looking for a fight. Like some people in this thread for example :v

If you curate your feed yes.

Default Bluesky is just resist libs melting down, which offers no solution, no insight, no path forward, no reflection; it's just pure noise. Still better than Twitter right now though. If you look at the people with the most followers right now, like 80% of them are resist libs lol

But honestly the whole point of Bluesky is that it's very easy to create your own echo chamber. People just knee-jerk against "echo chamber" as if that's a problem. No it is not a problem that I don't want to see tweets from 70 IQ idiots.

BTW, there are also mutelists for resist libs (along with the thousands of mutelists for the right) out there so you can very easily filter out all the inane noise on Bluesky.
