To be fair, Shadowbringers patch content was mediocre and received similair backlash as Dawntrail in its current state. It was not until later in the expansion where people changed their tune a bit. 5.1-5.35 was similairly dry so I expect DT to go through the same thing within 7.1 to 7.35.

Whatever comes out next will likely be great to some players and terrible for others. Just like the last patch and patch before that and the patch before that... and the next patch and the patch after that.

Not wrong, but definitely shouldn't defend it, because that sounds like what you're doing. They could solve this problem by revising exactly how they release content, and them some.

How would that change someone somewhere not liking the content that was put out and complaining it wasn't exactly what they had in their head as their ideal thing to do?

Ideally there'd be multiple types released at once.

7.35 most likely and these tend to feel very barebones until more updates roll in so dont hold your breath.

Expect it for 7.25.

Three zones over the course of the expansion would be the dream.

I ask this, because right now its the only feature I'm looking forward to in the near future. Would be a shame if it got shifted to be released in 7.3 patches instead (Hope not!)

lets face it, it's going to release 7.2X and either be half assed or purely gathering and crafting, and die out real fast

The game has a million and one things to genuinely complain about why make shit up to get mad about? Exploratory content is combat content.
