If you open PF, there's not very many until the evening hours. That's evidence that most people play in the evenings ie. casually.

They aren't expensive.

I don't believe most people intend to fully 100% the game. Pretending that people can't be bored unless they've collected 20k accursed hoard is asinine.

I don't mean stuff like that. I mean just having not done certain things.

For example, some people didn't bother with Island Sanctuary yet. Others may not have bothered with certain ex trials . Others may not have bothered with Criterion yet. Others may not have bothered with certain deep dungeons yet (considering how EO was dead on arrival). I see comments about what people haven't done yet in the game all the time.

It's fine to want more, but as I proved in one of my posts, anything they make will last no longer than 20 minutes per attempt/pull. And it's not because they are lazy; it's a design directive that is given to people applying as a designer - they are asked not to make it last longer and to truncate it if it does.

To play devil's advocate, a lot of people will call this "cheap" and a lot will call it "expensive," it really just depends who you're talking to whether they agree with you, unfortunately. Since different experiences and sharing them seem to be frowned upon here.
