I'd marry my favorite NPCs except the game has killed every single one of them off without exception, because that's apparently my fate in this game.

So I write fanfic instead.

Seriously tho, the whole eternal bonding ceremony I don't think has even been touched once since it was introduced back in ARR. You can only play ARR music. There's only one venue. Only people from your same server, not DC, individual SERVER, can attend. There's a single dress and suit you can acquire, and you can't own both.

It's so insane that I can't go to my friend's weddings without making an alt on that server and getting it to level 15. That's insane.

I remember reading somewhere that the idea was thrown around a few times to allow players to get into relationships with some of the adult Scions, but eventually dropped because it would cause too many complications with future storywriting. So that'll have to stay in the realm of fanfic for now, alas.

Now seems like a perfect time then! They seem to not be doing anything that furthers the story of any scion anymore, not even outfit changes.
