Went on a Ceremony of Bonding today and randomly I had a brief thought...
What if it were possible to invite npcs to witness this event?
Just like... seeing some of your favourite characters be there in the cutscenes, being happy for your sake... It feels like it could be a really sweet thing.

Oh, I look forward to the (player fed) drama on that one... Lol. Have no desire to marry an NPC (and wouldn't mind if you could), but I would love to see a bioware, baldur's gate, (insert game with companion mechanics), system.



We had a companion in 1.0... that was cool, wish they hadn't drop that idea. My miqote had problems, but from the way they talked the miners guild wasn't one of them!

I blame my stubborn a** for trying to do every game solo because I have trust issues

I remember reading somewhere that the idea was thrown around a few times to allow players to get into relationships with some of the adult Scions, but eventually dropped because it would cause too many complications with future storywriting. So that'll have to stay in the realm of fanfic for now, alas.

Also, I'd love to invite Aenor, Clemence and the Boulder brothers to one just so I can hear the random perverted fantastises of Aenor surrounding her enamorment with the Boulder brothers while Clemence regrets leaving Ishgard to attend this wedding because of her embarrassing sister.

It would be nice to have the option. My alt could marry an NPC just for the wedding clothes/mount! My first choice would be Hien. lol
