How we get so many references to Lalafell's being snatched away and eaten by animals and we never actually get to see something like that in game, whether it be a Fate or just a random un-interact able NPC.

If we Lalafell are such easy pickings for the predators in the wild, then SE should at least showcase actually happening!!!! >

It makes me wonder if Lalas are less "easy pickings" and more that wild animals are less likely to be intimidated by them, size or even gender doesn't seem to impact physical ability to a meaningful extend in Etheirys(yeah base stats are a thing, but they are meaningless even in Sastasha scaling), so the smallest lady Lala can be almost as physically capable as the largest Roeg dude, but for a dumb wild animal who only has instinct to judge threat assessment, the Lala will be much less intimidating because she is so much smaller, so she is more likely to be targeted while traveling than he would.

There's a lot of things in game they talk a lot about in text, lorebooks and so forth that we never see a glimpse of.
Radiant host in Thavnair had a cool commander with an eyepatch and a fancy name, that apparently just got eaten offscreen, we never even saw a peep of her.


THEREFORE I VOTE WE COULD change the boost-bonus boxes in the chocobo races into magical escaping panicked lalafels that the chocobo eat to gain weapons and powerboosts.

That could be the case, though unless your military trained, a decently experienced adventurer/mercenary or a Garlean conscripted with a super cool gunblade, I doubt your average Lalafell or any other racial group for that matter. Could properly deal with a hungry slavering beast. Though I can see Roegydan being strong enough to at least have a slightly better chance of surviving such a encounter. xD

Are you saying we Lalafell are not plump enough to satisfy the cravings of a lion!? We practically pear shape and are forced to waddle when we walk! At least 8 of us can put a full grown lion in a food coma! Surely that would be enough, right...? x'D

Which is such a shame. Especially when you go to areas that the whole freaking world of the First and we never see random roaming Sin Eaters. Which you would think would be a fairly common sight considering their world was nearly devoured by light and has been endlessly assaulted by the unholy critters ever since. :/

I wholeheartedly agree. We definitely need cutscenes where lalafells are eaten alive by animals, living fauna, voidsent, or whatever is at hand. A lot of cutscenes!

Oh you still absolutely have terrible things happening to people, now they're just random NPC extras that only appear to be killed in this one cutscene and whose names you don't even know.
