Crystalline Conflict Community Cup 2025 Contest (THE “PROMOTION”) OFFICIAL RULES

KEY RULES

A. Official Rules: The Official Rules for this Promotion consist of both (i) these key rules summarising the important rules for participating in the Promotion (the “Key Rules”) and (ii) the Additional Promotion Official Rules (“Additional Rules”) applicable to your place of legal residence. Please review the Additional Rules at the following URL:

B. Territories: This Promotion is open only to individuals who are legal residents and physically and permanently located in one of the following countries/territories at the date and time of entry (the “Promotion Jurisdiction”):

• Europe and Oceania, excluding Russia, Belarus, and wherever prohibited by law.

C. Age Limit: This Promotion is open only to individuals 18 years of age or older at the date the event begins (i.e. the Round of 16).

D. Entry Period: You may enter the Promotion only between 31 January 2025 at 12:00 GMT / 4:00 PST / 13:00 CET and 7 February 2025 at 16:00 GMT / 8:00 PST / 17:00 CET (the “Entry Period”). The exact start and finish time may vary, as published on the Lodestone webpage available at the following URL: https://sqex.to/2PYGN.

E. Entry Procedure and Limitations: In order to enter the Promotion, you must complete the following steps during the Entry Period:

General Rules

i. You must have and maintain your own active FINAL FANTASY XIV (the “Game”) European Square Enix account.
ii. You must have a Game character on the European Chaos data center (“Chaos”) or on the European Light data center (“Light”).
iii. Form a player-versus-player team (a “Team”) consisting of between five (5) and seven (7) players.

1. To form a Team, you must form a group with a minimum of five (5) and maximum of seven (7) Game players.
2. Each member of the Team must be eligible to enter this Promotion and must have read and agreed to the Official Rules for the Promotion before participating.
3. During a match or a game, each Team must consist of five (5) players of different jobs.
4. Team members may freely change jobs between games.
5. If any Team fails to have at least five (5) eligible members at any time, that Team will be disqualified.
6. Only five (5) Team members may participate in any one match.
7. Teams will be allowed to switch players within their Team between matches of each stage of the tournament, but not between games of the same match.
   - For example: Switching players between Semi-Finals and finals is permitted. Switching players between Game 1 and Game 2 of the Semi-Finals is not.
8. Players may participate on only one (1) Team during the Promotion.

iv. Only players who have been registered as part of the team at the time of registration will be eligible for the tournament. No player can be added to the team after registration.
v. A minimum of eight (8) Teams is required to hold the tournament. The tournament will be cancelled if there are less than eight (8) Teams participating.
vi. Players will be able to register during the Entry Period via a link provided by the Sponsor.
vii. Once the Entry Period has expired, the Sponsor shall review the registered teams and select a maximum of sixteen (16) Teams.
viii. If more than sixteen (16) Teams have registered, the the Sponsor will use the following methodology and criteria to select the participating Teams:

• Result of their previous Crystalline Conflict official tournament placement and season status*;
• Accuracy of the information registered on the Square Enix account;
• In-game play status; and
• History of terms of service violations.

*Calculated by the Team’s average Stars/Credit ranking for Season 12. If a player has not ranked in Season 12, their Season 11 or Season 10 rank may be considered for the team’s average instead, in that order. In case of a tie, the Sponsor will reference combined scores from the past 3 seasons as a tiebreaker.

ix. Sponsor will select the best teams in line with the criteria cited above and seed them and then determine the bracket seeding for the remaining teams using a random drawing.
x. The final bracket shall be announced on 24 February 2025.
xi. Sponsor shall randomly select the first map before each match.
xii. For each subsequent game, the losing team of the previous game will select the map for the next game.

Round of 16

i. The Round of 16 will take place between 3 March 2025 and 6 March 2025, from 16:30 GMT / 8:30 PST / 17:30 CET.
ii. Best-of-3 games.
iii. Each match in the Round of 16 shall consist of up to three games on one of the following maps: The Palaistra, The Volcanic Heart, Cloud Nine, The Clockwork Castletown, and The Red Sands.
iv. Each winning Team shall advance to the Round of 8.

Round of 8

i. The Round of 8 will take place on 7 March 2025 from 16:30 GMT / 8:30 PST / 17:30 CET.
ii. Best-of-3 games.
iii. Each match in the Round of 8 shall consist of up to three games one of the following maps: The Palaistra, The Volcanic Heart, Cloud Nine, The Clockwork Castletown, and The Red Sands.
iv. Each winning Team shall advance to the Semi-Finals.

Semi-Finals

i. The Semi-Finals will take place on 7 March 2025 from 16:30 GMT / 8:30 PST / 17:30 CET.
ii. Best-of-3 games.
iii. Each match in the Semi-Finals shall consist of up to three games on one of the following maps: The Palaistra, The Volcanic Heart, Cloud Nine, The Clockwork Castletown, and The Red Sands.
iv. The remaining two (2) Teams in their respective brackets will advance to the Finals.
v. During the Semi-Finals, Teams may substitute active members for alternate Team members between matches, but not between games in a single match.

Finals

i. The Finals will take place on 7 March 2025 from 16:30 GMT / 8:30 PST / 17:30 CET.
ii. Best-of-5 games.
iii. Each match in the Finals shall consist of up to five games on one of the following maps: The Palaistra, The Volcanic Heart, Cloud Nine, The Clockwork Castletown, and The Red Sands.
iv. During the Finals, Teams may substitute active members for alternate Team members between matches, but not between games in a single match.

Additional Terms

The following terms shall also apply:
i. For all matches:

(a) You may use in-Game macros.
(b) You may not use keyboard macros relating to gaming software or gaming hardware, such as but not limited to, the Logitech G13.

ii. If a Team cannot participate in a match, chooses not to participate in a match, or otherwise indicates to Sponsor that it will not participate in match, or if a Team is disqualified during a match, for any reason, the opponent Team shall win the match by default.
iii. If a Team is disqualified during the Round of 16, Round of 8, Semi-Finals, or Finals (other than during a match), the next-highest-ranking eligible Team will take the disqualified Team’s place.
iv. You must adhere to the Game User Agreement and all other applicable Game/Sponsor policies and terms.
v. You must be able to communicate in English.
vi. You must be able to communicate using Discord (voice and text chat) software.
vii. Boosting: You may not advertise, sell, purchase, or exchange any boosting service. You may not play for the purpose of acquiring virtual items, rewards, or advancement in game play on behalf of a third-party.
viii. Win-trading: You may not abuse matches in order to force a match result in or against your favour. This includes force disconnecting and failure to perform any actions in match.
ix. Poor Sportsmanship: You must avoid any actions or behaviour inconsistent with principles of basic sportsmanship, honesty, and fair play. You must not engage in violence or use offensive language. You must not abuse game exploits, hacks, other in-game issues.
x. You may not deliberately or negligently cause delays or impede the progress of the Promotion.
xi. You may not use any other person’s Square Enix Account, or permit any person to use your Square Enix Account, during the Promotion.
xii. You must not use the Promotion to obtain or generate any profit for yourself or for any anyone else other than Square Enix and its designees.
xiii. You hereby acknowledge that the Sponsor will film, photograph, record, and/or livestream matches or other portions of the Promotion on the Internet and may display, reproduce, distribute, and broadcast your name, likeness, and gameplay on the livestream, on Sponsor’s websites and social media channels, and elsewhere. By participating in the Promotion, you hereby grant Sponsor a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, assignable, non-exclusive license to make this use of your name, likeness, and gameplay.
xiv. You must promptly comply with all posted instructions and rules, and all instructions and rules otherwise provided by Promotion staff, venue staff, or Sponsor staff, before, during, and after the Promotion.
xv. You must immediately raise all complaints and/or disputes about gameplay or Promotion procedures, or any other aspect of the Promotion, with the Sponsor or Sponsor’s designee. You waive any complaints or disputes that you do not immediately raise to the Sponsor or Sponsor’s designee. Sponsor or Sponsor’s designee will have complete discretion to adjudicate all complaints and disputes about gameplay or Promotion procedures, or any other aspect of the Promotion.
xvi. Promotion staff may alter the Promotion or game/match structure, or grant variances in the Promotion or Game rules, based on the Sponsor or Sponsor’s designee’s judgment and discretion in order to ensure fair play and results.
xvii. Sponsor’s decisions are final and cannot be further appealed or challenged.
xviii. Each entrant and each Team is solely responsible for ensuring that his/her/its equipment, network connection, etc. are adequate to participate in the Promotion and are issue and interruption free.
xix. In the event of a player disconnecting from the game before the gate opens at the start of a game, the game will be reset.
xx. If a match during the Promotion cannot be completed due to a server outage or similar technology issues related to Sponsor’s servers or technology, then the match will be null, and a rematch will be held.

F. Prize(s): Prizes shall be distributed as follows:

• Each member of the grand prize-winning team shall receive the following prizes (all in-game virtual items):

i. One (1) Loporrit Earring (in-game virtual item);
ii. Three (3) sets of 99x Magitek Torches (red, blue, yellow) and 10x Wrapped Presents (in-game virtual items);
iii. One (1) item of their choice among the Great Paraserpent, the Ahriman Choker, the Mandragora Choker, the Chocobo Noble Barding, the Bluebird Earring, the Scarf of Wondrous Wit, the Gaelicap, and Modern Aesthetics – Strife (in-game virtual items).

• Each member of the four (4) Semi-Finalist teams shall receive the following prizes:

i. Three (3) sets of 99x Magitek Torches (red, blue, yellow) and 10x Wrapped Presents (in-game virtual items);
ii. One (1) item of their choice among the Great Paraserpent, the Ahriman Choker, the Mandragora Choker, the Chocobo Noble Barding, the Bluebird Earring, the Scarf of Wondrous Wit, the Gaelicap, and Modern Aesthetics – Strife (in-game virtual items).

• All other participants shall receive the following prize:

i. Three (3) sets of 99x Magitek Torches (red, blue, yellow) and 10x Wrapped Presents (in-game virtual items).

G. Winner Notification: Sponsor, or Sponsor’s designee, will notify winner(s) by or about 7 March 2025 via Discord.

H. Sponsor: The sponsor of this Promotion is Square Enix Limited.

By entering the Promotion, you agree to be bound and abide by these Key Rules and the Additional Rules applicable to your place of legal residence, and you represent that you satisfy all eligibility requirements to enter the Promotion.

REGLAS PRINCIPALES

A. Reglas Oficiales: Las Reglas Oficiales para esta Promoción consisten en ambas (i) estas reglas principales que resumen las reglas importantes para participar en la Promoción (las “Reglas Principales”) y (ii) las Reglas Oficiales Adicionales de la Promoción (“Reglas Adicionales”) aplicables a su lugar de residencia legal. B. Territorios: Esta Promoción está abierta solo para individuos que sean residentes legales y estén localizados física y permanentemente en alguno de los siguientes países/territorios en la fecha y hora de inscribirse (la “Jurisdicción de Promoción”):

C. Límite de edad: Esta Promoción está abierta solo para personas que tengan 18 años o más en la fecha del inicio del evento (es decir, las Octavos de final).

D. Período de inscripción: Puede inscribirse en la Promoción únicamente entre el 31 de enero de 2025 a las 13:00 CET y el 7 de febrero de 2025 a las 17:00 CET (el “Período de inscripción”). Reglas generales

i. Debe tener y mantener activa su propia cuenta europea de Square Enix en FINAL FANTASY XIV Online (el “Juego”).
ii. Debe tener un personaje jugable en el centro de datos europeo Chaos (“Chaos”) o en el centro de datos europeo Light (“Light”).
iii. Formar un equipo jugador contra jugador (un “Equipo”) de entre cinco (5) y siete (7) jugadores.

1. Para formar un Equipo, debe contar con un grupo con un mínimo de cinco (5) jugadores y un máximo de siete (7) jugadores del Juego.
2. Cada miembro del Equipo debe poder inscribirse en esta Promoción y debe haber leído y aceptado las Reglas Oficiales de la Promoción antes de participar.
3. Durante una partida o ronda, cada Equipo debe componerse de cinco (5) jugadores con distintos oficios.
4. Los miembros del Equipo podrán cambiar de oficio libremente entre rondas.
5. Si en algún momento un Equipo no tiene al menos cinco (5) miembros aptos, ese Equipo será descalificado.
6. En las partidas solo pueden participar cinco (5) miembros del Equipo.
7. Se permitirá a los Equipos cambiar de jugadores dentro de su Equipo entre las partidas de cada fase del torneo, pero no entre las rondas de la misma partida.
   - Por ejemplo: Cambiar de jugadores entre las semifinales y la final está permitido. Cambiar de jugadores entre la ronda 1 y la ronda 2 de las semifinales no está permitido.
8. Los jugadores solo pueden participar en un (1) Equipo durante la Promoción.

iv. Solo los jugadores que se han registrado como parte de un Equipo en el momento del registro podrán participar en el torneo. No es posible añadir ningún jugador al Equipo tras el registro.
v. Se necesita un mínimo de ocho (8) Equipos para celebrar el torneo. El torneo se cancelará si hay menos de ocho (8) Equipos participantes.
vi. Los jugadores podrán registrarse durante el Período de inscripción a través de un enlace proporcionado por el Patrocinador.
vii. Una vez concluido el Período de inscripción, el Patrocinador revisará los Equipos registrados y seleccionará un máximo de dieciséis (16) Equipos.
viii. En caso de que se hayan registrado más de dieciséis (16) Equipos, el Patrocinador utilizará el siguiente método y criterios para seleccionar a los Equipos participantes:

• Sus resultados en los anteriores torneos oficiales Crystalline Conflict y estatus de temporada*;
• La exactitud de la información registrada en la cuenta de Square Enix;
• El estatus dentro del juego; y
• El historial de infracciones de las condiciones de servicio.

* Calculado a partir de la media del Equipo en la clasificación de Stars/Credit de la Temporada 12. Si un jugador no se ha clasificado en la Temporada 12, podría tenerse en cuenta su clasificación en la Temporada 11 o en la Temporada 10, en ese orden, para calcular la media del Equipo. En caso de empate, el Patrocinador tomará las puntuaciones combinadas de las últimas 3 temporadas para deshacer el empate.

ix. El Patrocinador seleccionará los mejores Equipos según los criterios arriba mencionados y determinará el cabeza de serie para después definir los grupos mediante sorteo.
x. Los grupos finales se anunciarán el 24 de febrero de 2025.
xi. El Patrocinador seleccionará al azar el primer mapa antes de cada partida.
xii. Para las rondas sucesivas, el Equipo que ha perdido la ronda anterior seleccionará el mapa para la siguiente ronda.

Octavos de final

i. Las Octavos de final tendrán lugar entre el 3 de marzo de 2025 y el 6 de marzo de 2025, a partir de las 17:30 CET.
ii. Rondas donde gana el mejor de 3.
iii. Cada partida en las Octavos de final consistirá en hasta tres rondas en uno de los siguientes mapas: Palaistra, The Volcanic Heart, Cloud Nine, The Clockwork Castletown y The Red Sands.
iv. Cada Equipo ganador pasará a los Cuartos de final.

Cuartos de final

i. Los Cuartos de final tendrán lugar el 7 de marzo de 2025 a partir de las 17:30 CET.
ii. Rondas donde gana el mejor de 3.
iii. Cada partida en los Cuartos de final consistirá en hasta tres rondas en uno de los siguientes mapas: Palaistra, The Volcanic Heart, Cloud Nine, The Clockwork Castletown y The Red Sands.
iv. Cada Equipo ganador pasará a las Semifinales.

Semifinales

i. Las Semifinales tendrán lugar el 7 de marzo de 2025 a partir de las 17:30 CET.
ii. Rondas donde gana el mejor de 3.
iii. Cada partida en las Semifinales consistirá en hasta tres rondas en uno de los siguientes mapas: Palaistra, The Volcanic Heart, Cloud Nine, The Clockwork Castletown y The Red Sands.
iv. Los dos (2) Equipos restantes en su respectivo grupo pasarán a la Final.
v. Durante las Semifinales, los Equipos podrán sustituir miembros activos por otros miembros del Equipo entre partidas, pero no entre rondas de la misma partida.

Final

i. La Final tendrá lugar el 7 de marzo de 2025 a partir de las 17:30 CET.
ii. Rondas donde gana el mejor de 5.
iii. Cada partida en la Final consistirá en hasta cinco rondas en uno de los siguientes mapas: Palaistra, The Volcanic Heart, Cloud Nine, The Clockwork Castletown y The Red Sands.
iv. Durante la Final, los Equipos podrán sustituir miembros activos por otros miembros del Equipo entre partidas, pero no entre rondas de la misma partida.

Condiciones adicionales

También se aplican las siguientes condiciones:
i. Para todas las partidas:

(a) Se permite usar macros dentro de Juego.
(b) No se permite usar macros de teclado específicas de software o hardware gaming, como Logitech G13, entre otros.

ii. Si un Equipo no puede participar en una partida, opta por no participar en una partida o de otro modo indica al Patrocinador que no participará en una partida, o si un Equipo es descalificado durante una partida, por la razón que fuere, el Equipo contrario ganará la partida por defecto.
iii. Si un Equipo es descalificado durante las Octavos de final, Cuartos de final, Semifinales o la Final (salvo en una partida), el siguiente Equipo apto con la mayor clasificación ocupará el lugar del Equipo descalificado.
iv. Debe acatar el Acuerdo de Usuario del Juego y todas las políticas y condiciones aplicables del Juego/Patrocinador.
v. Debe ser capaz de comunicarse en inglés.
vi. Debe poder comunicarse utilizando el software Discord (chat de voz y texto).
vii. Potenciación: Tiene prohibido anunciar, vender, comprar o intercambiar ningún servicio de potenciación. No podrá jugar con el fin de adquirir artículos virtuales, recompensas o avances en el juego en nombre de un tercero.
viii. Amañar partidas: Tiene prohibido amañar las partidas con el fin de forzar el resultado de una partida a su favor o en su contra. Esto incluye desconexiones forzadas y no realizar alguna de las acciones de la partida.
ix. Falta de deportividad: Debe evitar toda acción o comportamiento que contradiga los principios de la deportividad básica, la honestidad y el juego limpio. No debe ejercer la violencia ni usar lenguaje ofensivo. No debe aprovecharse de las vulnerabilidades del juego, modificaciones ni ningún otro fallo del juego.
x. No podrá, ni deliberada ni negligentemente, ocasionar demoras o impedir el progreso de la Promoción.
xi. No debe usar la cuenta de Square Enix de ninguna otra persona ni permitir que ninguna persona use su cuenta de Square Enix durante la Promoción.
xii. No debe usar la Promoción para obtener o generar beneficios para usted o cualquier otra persona salvo Square Enix y sus designados.
xiii. Por la presente acepta que el Patrocinador grabe, fotografíe y/o transmita en directo partidas u otras partes de la Promoción en internet y que muestre, reproduzca, distribuya y transmita su nombre, imagen y forma de jugar en la transmisión en directo en las páginas web del Patrocinador, en redes sociales y en cualquier otro medio. Al participar en la Promoción, por la presente concede al Patrocinador una licencia a perpetuidad, a nivel mundial, libre de derechos de autor, susceptiva de cesión, asignable y no exclusiva para utilizar su nombre, imagen y forma de jugar.
xiv. Debe cumplir sin demora todas las instrucciones y reglas publicadas o de otro modo proporcionadas por el personal de la Promoción, el personal de las instalaciones o el personal del Patrocinador, antes, durante y después de la Promoción.
xv. Debe formular inmediatamente todas las quejas y/o disputas sobre el juego o los procedimientos de la Promoción, o sobre cualquier otro aspecto de la Promoción, al Patrocinador o a su designado. Usted renuncia a todas las quejas o disputas que no formule inmediatamente al Patrocinador o a su designado. El Patrocinador o su designado tendrá discreción absoluta para juzgar todas las quejas y disputas sobre el juego o los procedimientos de la Promoción, o sobre cualquier otro aspecto de la Promoción.
xvi. El personal de la Promoción podrá modificar la estructura de la Promoción o de las partidas/rondas, o hacer variaciones en las reglas de la Promoción o del Juego, según el criterio y discreción del Patrocinador o de su designado, al objeto de garantizar un juego y resultados justos.
xvii. Las decisiones del Patrocinador son definitivas y no podrán recurrirse o impugnarse.
xviii. Cada participante y cada Equipo son exclusivamente responsables de asegurar que sus equipos, conexiones a la red, etc. sean adecuadas para participar en la Promoción y no presenten problemas ni interrupciones.
xix. En caso de que un jugador se desconecte antes de que la puerta se abra al principio de la ronda, la ronda se reiniciará.
xx. En el caso de que una partida no pueda completarse durante la Promoción debido a la caída de un servidor o a problemas técnicos similares asociados con los servidores o la tecnología del Patrocinador, entonces la partida se declarará nula y volverá a celebrarse.


F. Premio(s): Los premios se distribuirán de la siguiente forma:

• Cada miembro del Equipo ganador del primer premio recibirá los siguientes premios (todos ellos objetos virtuales dentro del juego):

i. Un (1) Loporrit Earring (objeto virtual dentro del juego);
ii. Tres (3) sets de 99x Magitek Torches (rojo, azul, amarillo) y 10x Wrapped Present (objetos virtuales dentro del juego);
iii. Un (1) objeto de su elección entre Great Paraserpent, Ahriman Choker, Mandragora Choker, Chocobo Noble Barding, Bluebird Earring, Scarf of Wondrous Wit, Gaelicap y Modern Aesthetics - Strife (objetos virtuales dentro del juego).

• Cada miembro de los cuatro (4) Equipos semifinalistas recibirá los siguientes premios:

i. Tres (3) sets de 99x Magitek Torches (rojo, azul, amarillo) y 10x Wrapped Present (objetos virtuales dentro del juego);
ii. Un (1) objeto de su elección entre Great Paraserpent, Ahriman Choker, Mandragora Choker, Chocobo Noble Barding, Bluebird Earring, Scarf of Wondrous Wit, Gaelicap y Modern Aesthetics - Strife (objetos virtuales dentro del juego).

• Todos los demás participantes recibirán el siguiente premio:

G. Notificación a los ganadores: El Patrocinador o su designado notificará a los ganadores alrededor del 7 de marzo de 2025 por Discord.
