Chaotic Thunder God Cid Next Please!

Can we please have Thunder God Cid from the Ivalice alliance raid be our next or one of our next Chaotic alliance bosses. He was nerfed for being too hard, it is our solemn duty to return Cid to his former glory AND beyond so that we may experience his full might.

The current Chaotic raid has been some of the best repeatable, farmable, memeable, teachable content I've ever seen. I wish that we would have had these Chaotic raids in the past and I hope to see one every. single. patch. if possible. We need more, we need them now. Don't change the difficulty, in my opinion they are tuned to the correct level and will prime people for the 3rd and 4th savage floor boss as well as Ultimate raiding.

I've had a large amount of success teaching big groups of first timers within 2 lockouts going from fresh to a clear. From a content creator POV, this is perfect for stream and not an overbearing commitment for players thinking they'd have to stay for hours on end (unless they are super unlucky in PF).

Give us CID, and perhaps a few others like Agrias and Mustadio too!

Perhaps others can chime in on their favorite alliance boss that could be turned into a Chaotic version. Diabolos? The creepy red girl from Nier? The Math robot, Construct 9 that will now make us do taxes or calculus? What say you all?

But please, Cid first, dibs. Please Mr. Ozma, we want more! Thank you for your hard work and dedication to giving us raiders amazing content!

as much as i love the thunder god (especially on release) dun scaith holds a special place in the heart of my nostalgia so i prefer diabolos slightly over cid.

I wonder if they’ll go in order of the expacs… if so, I’d love to see Diabolos for the next one! But yes, Cid would be a good one from the Stormblood raids. Just not math boss please! Not sure who I’d want from Nier… probably Red Girl or Inflorescence (I could listen to that song on repeat forever!). Pandaemonium, I’d love Proto-Carby but it’ll probably be Athena.

Would be nice to have Cid in Chaotic alliance raid along with Mathbot (Construct 9) or one of the normal raid that flows well with Cid (I.E. The Half Ramuh half Horse one) and yea you have my vote on that one but I rather have them go in expansion order, HW, SB, ShB, EW,...
then pick out one of the Normal/Savage raid that fits and blend in well. I hope they use Deathgaze (I think that the one with a lot of KB Ship fight) for the next Chaotic A. Raid with bunch of KB going on (Evil thought: KB resist is not allowed or can't be used) along with one of the Savage raid that flows well in the fight with Death gaze.

I really enjoy the current chaotic A. Raid but still struggling to learn the rest of it to clear due to PF meme'ng and PVP'ing so much with no progress at all when progress has been made by a bit.

I think you're confusing raid series. Carby and Athena were 8 man raids. For Endwalker we'd get the 12. Hopefully one of the first raid of the series as it was the best.

what I think the problem is is they are based on alliance raid yet it is a single boss fight I would have wished better then that as I love alliance raid haha. But I think chaotic are a hit or miss so far but I feel we might see the endgame getting worst with those sadly

Yo i already did this thread, about which one next. Thunder God is at least 2 Chaotics off if not more. So the obvious one is Diabolos next where you fight him then Scathach and then both and then Diabolos Hollow. Also Scathach has the add that drops so could easily have 3 mobs in the arena at once and each Alliance is dealing with one. Ivalice, most bosses in that could become Chaotic seen as it's a near flawless Alliance raid, Math Boss with hard puzzles and Yes Thundergod, just tune up the mechanics and make that add phase way more mech heavy.
