With that said I bet you don't watch many of the new movies that are set in today or cartoon movies and tv shows and such since they do a lot of pop culture references as well as internet meme stuff too....

When it's done right you will never even notice it unless you know the meme/pop culture reference very well.

Like the played out Skyrim ones. It mostly shows that they actually pay attention to trends and have some fun, but some really should never exist >.>

yeah kinda figured. tv and movies now a days do that as well so meh. I have no problem with it hell se has been doing it since airships with calling them the "Enterprise" and Biggs and Wedge (they are pop cultural references even though they are classic icons in the ff games)
