Ban premade parties in Frontline please

Not gonna lie, I think basically every data center is about the same atm. Lot of shot callers stop early with how much negative reception they get, and feels bad to get a caution or strike when you’re trying to help.

Most of them would rather just group up and Vc where they won’t get flamed as hard.

There is a middle ground in which people who know what they're doing offer periodic suggestions.

Like you have the ability to actually command a team. It would be foolish for you to change a winning formula. You are a rarity. The reasons less-able shot-callers get pushback include:

They are plain bad;
They use way too many SFX/macros;
They and their premade buddies are rude.

And given how reluctant the GMs are to intervene on anything, I'd suggest anyone getting a suspension or caution has probably earned it.

That said, since 7.2 I haven't seen a single shot-caller get told to stfu. I know it happens, but a lot of these silent premades on VC have been playing like that for months. Most are padders with little interest in helping the team or even winning.

Meanwhile the proportion of players making no effort at all seems to me to have increased.

I think 7.1 made a lot of people quit frontline - we lost a lot of decent shotcallers and players in EU. I took a break for a few months.
In this time a number of new shotcallers started playing who are getting to grips with how to do it well. Some quicker than others and some have overdone macros for EU (looking at one specific individual :P).

7.2 has so far been pretty awful in terms of level of quality in EU, so much so I am taking another break to let rouletters catch up with their rewards.

Picking up my self appointed commander role in 7.2, trying to coordinate burst, trying to coordinate team movement has been bad.
You get people actively working against you in every possible way - getting berated in chat, getting vote kick initiated because they don't like even minimal macros, removing my markers, and plain trolling. Having a premade with you is a luxury in this situation - you at least know that SOMEONE has your back for when you go in.

Playing on NA, even solo, i found it to be way less toxic for example, and I am finding my winrate to be way higher on NA than EU currently just due to this.

You guys are getting flamed because a few reason :
1. its boring to follow someone all game
2. You are trying to change NA playstyle to JP playstyle and its just not possible with NA brains.
3. Most of you guys not all of you but a huge portion are using external add-ons for a multitudes of reason while PS players dont have access to any of this.
4. You are ruining everybody experience.

PVP pre 6.1 was better because this type of shit was not possible but since 6.1 frontline is cooked.

Crystal is the home of premade, about you guys all play there against each other and let other DC breathe ? Are you guys scared of fighting other premades ? Its so rare unless its a qsync event that you guys are in the same game, why is that ?

1. Oh noooo, following the person who knows what they’re doing is boring. Whatever shall we dooooo?
2. Let’s insult NA intelligence. Setting a marker and having a countdown seems to work just fine on NA.
3. External addons of course. Discord, a monitor, a keyboard, setting up macros. PS players can’t use ANY of these things. And we can’t forget the most OP ones having friends and playing meta jobs.
4. lol, I’m having fun, my friends are having. I’m getting 2 or 3 commends every run so my party must have not entirely hated it. Ggs permeate the chat so it can’t be all that bad.

As for pre-6.1. If you think I couldn’t take a team of 4 and walk over enemies with summoner dots or dancer Tec step bombs. It was “better” to you because the amount of information on how to play well wasn’t around and the people who did so were rarer.

Can’t speak for others but I’m grinding out my win rate, many others are grinding out win achievements. I’ll do anything short of cheating to get a win. Why would I purposely Que up into an opposing group who I probably know and are chasing similar goals? Similarly, why would I Que up into a group trying to ensure I lose?


They can flame me all they want. I might start caring when the 3 people I’m bringing aren’t doing 90% of the work.

You are just saying in a different way that only you allow to stomp casuals
There is a mode called casual Crystal Conlict, no prmade, less likely to see an after/leecher
It also gives out exp and tome
Why don’t you just play mode if you thinks premade is source of all evil for you

I am solo player and I do not support elimination of premade, 100%.
Ban premade would only result a destruction of EU/NA frontline, where everyone just rush to PvE objective, no PvP and get reward for participation
This is not for your personal emo

It's possible to be a fully-committed player who does everything in their solo power to win a given match, while simultaneously wanting nothing to do with LFG channels on Discord.

To put it another way, I handicap my long-term win% through this approach, but since that doesn't matter to me in the slightest, it's not an issue.

I'm far more puzzled by semi-static premades whose priority is padding, thus relegating winning a match to a possible side-effect. I'm sure you know a few.
