Ban premade parties in Frontline please

Have you tried to play any other pvp games before saying this nonsense? Where matchmaking tries to make balanced match for everyone and not your no lifer "friends" farming pve achievements in frontline? (while griefing experience for EVERYONE else)

If square copies any party based mm they will make so if you q for a while and not get into match (because no party to match against you) you get priority queue. What i am saying is literally Dota 2 normal queue matchmaking .......

Stop abusing matchmaking. Stop trolling with "muh but my friends". You people stack 2-3 groups on ONE team because you know matchmaking suck. You are truly unskilled people in frontlines, unable to come up with anything but drk suck in throw aoes with pld walking around griefing with invuln. Nobody here has a problem with people having friends or social skills. We have a problem with the game mode being unfair, frustrating and/or boring because of how people like you choose to act. You posted in anther thread how you loved grouping up with a DRK, dnc and two drgs and coordinating LBs to let the four of you kill 10 opponents. So, you're just another premader who only plays Frontline if you have a huge advantage over other players and is resistant to anything that could challenge you. I don't mind people being selfish like that, it's somewhat natural. But at least have the decency to not regurgitate accusations like your last paragraph here. It diminishes your integrity.

I generally don't care about premades, the people that intentionally feed to "make the match go faster" are far more annoying especially when they are mounting up and walking straight into the enemy base for 10 minutes straight, those guys and people who try to afk in the corner of a map for the entire game too are just infinitely worse than people who want to actually play the game.

Initiate a vote kick. If that doesn't work or they are in another full party, report them.

You certainly over exaggerate on the premade and acting like it is a world breaking issue for everyone in FF14 while it is not
For Korean, Chinese, and Japanese datacenter the premade is irreverent because they heavily play on framework of a "Commander"
Their randoms are highly participated and showing higher obedience to Commander style of Frontline gameplay
There maybe more European players willing to band together on Light, but it doesn't mean it is the same for every other datacenter
Light is only one of the datacenter and do not represent entire FF14 Frontline
You feel hurt because of premade also doesn't mean everyone else holds same feeling
You are not the ONLY Longewolf on FF14 Frontline, there are many other wolves around

Let's get this straight. "Premades" are not a single hive mind. They are different groups of different people, with different skill levels, goals, ideas, and mindsets. Lumping them all in under the guise of them being elitist padders who want to ruin the fun of solo queue players -- that's the kind of take that makes the forums look crazy.

Nobody is violating the spirit of the Multiplayer Online RPG by playing a casual PvP mode with their friends.

I think one reason this discussion gets overly heated and personal (something to which I contributed in the past and for which I sincerely apologize), is because those who play in premades: 1) feel they are being attacked; 2) are not some monolith as you correctly point out.

Where I slightly disagree is your first para. I don't "play for fun" in the way that is usually understood. I play to win, but would like to enjoy matches win or lose.

One reason this premade debate rages on is that certain premades degrade the quality of matches for many of us. While there are regular light parties that I personally... let's say have issues with for their approach to the game and those not in their clique... the bulk of the problem sits with the game design.

I apologize for repeating this, but if the mode allows a semi-static premade to maintain a 70%+ win-rate, something needs to be changed. Olivia has pointed out correctly that, if everyone on the field was competent, the problem would resolve itself. Unfortunately, we're nowhere close to that. I see the same AFKers on Aether day after day, and despite reporting and vote-kicking, nothing appears to change.

Matchmaking runs into the queue time problem. SE has addressed that in CC ranked by herding everyone to the same DC. The better situation is cross-DC travel, but until then maybe we need to do the same with Frontline? Not only would a crude tier system help, a lot of the AFKers might be dissuaded from playing simply because of this extra hassle.
