I see you're not really here too have an earnest conversation, you're just a premader trying to shout down ideas that threaten your self-image. I'm not going to engage with your comments any more other than to say...
Hey if premades were only matched with other premades, the playing field would be fair. I don't see how anyone could possibly have an issue with that.
It's hard to have a serious conversation with someone about PVP who doesn't understand the rudimentary concepts of what it's about. ie. competition. If you don't want to compete, then don't play.I see you're not really here too have an earnest conversation, you're just a premader trying to shout down ideas that threaten your self-image. I don't see this holding up well. If it's not the premades we're following that's focusing on killing, then it's the shotcallers we're following that focused on objectives. Either way, we're following someone. Otherwise, the alliance collapses, and everyone is pushing for the game to end by any means necessary. Anyways, the reason why the game feels easy is because everyone is running the same strategy every game. It just happens to be some of the premades who are seeing this and using that fact to exploit. If it wasn't the case, then we wouldn't be zerging as much. Just saying. You've got it backwards. People only make premades because it turns the game into easy mode. They don't need to be good or skillful or creative when they can just follow their designated leader's instructions, align LBs and win by pressing one button. Players who go into premades are looking for easy, lazy, low effort wins.
No problem, I recognize my posting history can lead to understandable assumptions about my agenda. Discussions here have led to some shifts in who I am most mad at.

I find any oppressive "follow the leader" style of play to be boring in FL, hence why I bundled suggestions in OP to mitigate that playstyle. I don't mind shotcalling at all. I do mind player approaches that make the mode unfun and frustrating. In my experience, the vast majority of games without an oppressive shotcaller, be they premade or not, tend to be more enjoyable. This is setting aside the important fact that certain toxic premades can annihalate their opponents simply by virtue of being in a VC and coordinating LBs.I don't see this holding up well. I'm perfectly fine with separating the people that come there to play the mode from the people that just come for their daily rewards. If you want to be grouped with the latter then I wonder who it is really that wants to play on easy mode.
Because the social aspect of the game is gone?
I've introduced so many people to PvP by just saying "hey lets go do our daily Frontline roulette." And I'll run them through the ropes in the Wovles Den first, we'll giggle about seducing each other with Dancer LB in a duel, then go on trying to work together and fight some people.
But because we're part of the terrible premade boogieman, you'd rather have the four of us queue up separately, play with four different ideas about what's happening, rather than hanging out. Just because you don't want to interact with other people, either socially or through gameplay, doesn't mean the rest of us have to suffer.

Wouldn't premades matched with other premades be more social?Because the social aspect of the game is gone?

It's pretty clear premades are not going away, and while playing any game on VC is my idea of hell, I recognize some people enjoy it.
If we return to 70%+ premade win-rates, which I think is inevitable, the onus is on SQEX to address the problem. Whether that is through matchmaking, balancing premades across teams, or diminishing the oppressive effects of synched burst, that's for them to figure out.
Meanwhile, I think premades have a responsibility to approach the mode appropriately. Specifically, recognize this is a team mode, not a light party mode, and do everything they can to help their team win. This should be obvious, but many premades take a different approach. As such, they're violating the spirit of the mode in the same way AFKers are.
I thank you, Mr. Brand, for bringfresh meatnew players into the mode. It pressures SQEX to give FL more love, and helps maintain a healthy population.
