    In the case of ultimates, i specifically said that the rewards are not the same, normal version would be without effects, that you can upgrade by doing the ultimate version. Its literally content for people to do in a less punishing way for a scuffed version of the weapon while teaching them for the real deal, its a win-win because at the end of the day they have fun and you have more people to fill the party finder.

    For chaotic, i doubt that they will keep it unsyncable, because it makes no sense to have it queable with less people but not adjust the mechanics based on that+ the rewards are purchaseable so they also lose any sentimental value from day 1.
    I agree and wish you couldn't unsync extreme and savage content but here we are. At least within the current game, you need to wait a long time to be able to unsync the content and the associated rewards aren't devalued immediately.

    I think you've missed the point that I was making about ultimate. The fights would lose a lot of what makes them special if they had a low stakes training mode. We don't need participation trophies.

    I think it's more that people have been requesting for a difficulty between normal and extreme for a very long time, and they haven't really been hitting that spot. In fact, they haven't really hit that spot since BA (Maybe also DRS), which was near enough over 6 years ago.

    I think when the original desire for 'harder' 24-man came in, I think a lot of people were expecting a level of difficulty similar to BA, even from those that may have enjoyed this Chaotic specifically.
    Oh trust me i know very well that like 80% of the people who wanted midcore content actually mean the exact same thing you said.

    The missing stepping stone between normal and extreme has been an issue for years and a hell of a lot of people from varying skill level agree with that sentiment.
    Everyone just called it midcore by default because it makes perfect sense.

    The miscommunication was that for some reason Square Enix thinks that 80% of the playerbase is casual and they have to split the remaining 20% between like 15% midcore and 5% hardcore.
    Meanwhile the 80% has way too much of a variety.
    Mahjong Players, RP-ers, Island Sanctuary enjoyers,Crafters, Limsa AFK-ers, story andies, occasional subscribers and people who do literally everything for 6k+ hours in the game except extremes and savage that are still too recent to faceroll unsync are somehow in the same category in their book which is mindblowing.

    That's the problem to 1 strat only named Auriella only ; Alliance A and C's H2 have to cross heal B's Ranged Dps (said healers erroneously for some odd reason)

    As a savage raider that cleared M4S by week 4: CAR is not hard mechanics-wise. Its not ''difficult'' content.

    CAR is frustrating, and its all just because:

    - The devs basically lied about it being a 12-24 people content. Its hard coded to be 24 people fight because of a single bodycheck mechanic.

    - NA PF is awful. People leave after a single wipe, people have no idea of how to do mechanics, people join as jobs they cant perform well enough with.

    - The fight has zero requirements, when it should have at least been gated by clearing Speen EX.

    Combine all that and you have a NA PF killer fight that is FORCED to be done in PF. The fight itself is nothing special mechanics-wise. And people know this, and that is why people are getting way more demanding with the requirements, they can and WILL check 3rd party sites to exclude people who have not cleared 20+ times.

    When I spend more time progging PF than doing the fight, its because there are problems.
