The whole balance paradigm seems to forget that for melee and the damage casters to do more damage in a dummy fight with no mechanics they should actually have to work for it in a normal fight
Melee never have to fight for uptime so they just do 10% more damage…….because
The damage casters have so much mobility they can run a marathon before running out of instants and BLM can still out damage MCH doing a horribly wonky limitless instant cast rotation and holy in white costs what……….1% damage if you use it on CD
Square always seems to forget the second half of the ranged tax design paradigm
