Seems pretty clear that the difficulty isn't a factor in your enjoyment so much as something else. Perhaps you were drawn in by Elden Ring's world, lore, and gameplay, but nothing about recent Savage raids has really grabbed you.

savage isn't difficult it's just memorizing a very long pattern and executing it within tolerances. Which is part of why every job kind of plays exactly the same; so they all can fit within the patterns interchangeably
something like elden ring is learning tells and variations and how to learn and exploit openings with whatever build you have. Some may argue how difficult it is but overall it is a skill test rather than a memory test
Imo, the real test of savage is the social aspect.
You like need a group that's being social to make the repetitiveness less annoying but not so talkative that it's distracting and making the thing take so long that it actually becomes even worse

Where's the "skill issue git good"... /s
Elden Ring is an entirely different game.

Why Climbing Mountains Feels Like a Chore
I was just wondering why I am not enjoying Climbing Mountains. Well, first, I fell into the trap of thinking that maybe I just can't handle this difficulty.
Then one day, one of my friends sent me a gift of an F1 Car. I thought, 'Hey, I didn't climb a mountain, maybe F1 Racing is too much for me.'
But after a few weeks, I just finished an F1 race. But why?
I asked my friend, "Why can I drive one of the hardest cars, but I cannot climb mountains?"
Well, his answer was easier than the questions: "Because climbing mountains feels like a test."
I know many people just like me who didn't enjoy climbing mountains or at least didn't enjoy climbing mountains after Everest. For those people, share with me your thoughts.
well in F1 race there is a prize, climbing mountain is just wasting of time. Why Climbing Mountains Feels Like a Chore

Did anyone say FFXIV = ER?
But what does it feel playing ER for 1000hr vs FFXIV for 1000 hr?
Yes it is, but even though what synergy that you can create in FFXIV other than aligning buffs? how is it team work based when the only thing that you have to do is memorization?savage isn't difficult it's just memorizing a very long pattern and executing it within tolerances. it is really a memory test in FFXIV, synergy is not a focus in FFXIV but where to stand and where to face exc..

You did, maybe not with those exact words, but when you make a whole thread going "ER good FFXIV bad", that's how it reads, you are intentionally drawing a comparison between the two games and leaves a lot of people feeling like "Well, no shit Sherlock, those two games are trying to do completely different things within the genre...".
At its core ER is literally a memory test too, just significantly faster paced, and arguably without a rigid timeline but even that's questionable, the entire point of the game is to see what the boss is doing and dodging accordingly, with phase transitions happening at such specific thresholds they can, and will, dictate the flow of the fight, but the entire game still revolves around watching the boss lift their arm a specific way, or say a certain line, and respond to it to your best abilities, there is an extra element of not needing other people which people have repeated over and over, you will never die because your Mimic Tear wasn't standing on the right spot relative to you, but that's a whole different issue, pattern and flow memorization is at the core of every action game under the sun, and even through all their differences, this is an aspect Elden Ring and FFXIV(and KH, and DMC, and... you get the drill) share with each other, they are what enables people to do deathless and hitless runs of the game, with high skill players being able to tell everything a boss will do for the next minute, an eternity in a game like Elden Ring, with 100% accuracy, if you haven't realized that, unironically, skill issue.

You did, yes. I haven't played ER so I couldn't really tell you, I would imagine it'd be more fulfilling than FF14's current endgame though? Endgame so far is a bunch of raids as optimized as humanly possible mixed in with a bit of toxicity. Or, it's a different selection of mindless grinds. Not really a high bar to compete with, no?

Well, I didn't play ER but I did play Bloodborne. The comparison isn't fair but I guess the line of thought could be interesting.
I don't enjoy savage because the effort vs reward isn't motivating enough. I don't really feel too accomplished when I challenge that content. I don't like the commitment of statics, but PF prog is miserable along the 'pity' book to get BiS and I'm really unlucky with my RNG...Also the fact that BiS is kinda...pointless? in a weird way. I guess it'd make clearing savage faster or good for current ultimates...
Many times the rewards aren't enough for me, I can clear savage, I know if I put my mind to it I can do it.
Are you having trouble finding people?
Is the reward vs effort not enticing?
Are you struggling mechanically?
Are you struggling with rotation?
I think all souls games kinda feel like a rhythme game in a sense you can be like boss does 123 hits, then he'd be open for 2 hits etc (in a sense it is its own dance). I can't speak for ER, but I know bloodborne and dark souls are essentially that. In a way you're rewarded in souls games with stuff to upgrade your build/character with, meaningful progression and you're not locked out from loot. I still remember how shaky my hands were when I beat my first boss in bloodborne, I don't feel like this in this game. In this game the dance is with 8 other people and you're usually playing with a partner/pair.
There's of course a statisfaction of executing the 'dance' well but it pales in comparison I think...
I guess if there's something in common between the two games is that tolerance to failure and persistance to keep pulling but I feel that's where the comparison ends. That's just my opinion anyway.
I'd like it and/or be motivated by it if it had personal loot but I know it'd never happen.
