What's with the weird beard "shine" on male roegadyn and hrothgars?

This is one of many examples. Apparently it's been an ongoing issue since the Benchmark came out and I was only able to find a SINGLE thread about this that went pretty much ignored at the time.

This issue is pretty noticeable, especially on hrothgar and roegadyn that stick to darker colors. It's like the beards are made of a completely different material related to the hair. Even modders tried to address this and a solution wasn't properly found from what I could see online. It's such a bizarre thing because this was not an issue whatsoever prior to Dawntrail's release. The beards and hairs perfectly complimented each other.

I haven't posted in the Forums for a while, so if there's a better place to talk about this please let me know. (I'll also try to get more examples.)

I've noticed it a lot with my fem hroth's eyebrows. They have a weird greasy look to them. I'm guessing it has something to do with the new lighting? I was hoping they'd fix it, since I've seen a few complaints from other users regarding the issue with 7.0x's lighting and shadows.

If it’s only happening to beards with darker colors, I wonder if it’s the same problem that makes dark skin shiny too.

This issue happens on certain fur colors, beard colors for certain races, and hair colors--but not on all hairstyles--for some reason. Female Highlander racial hair seems to have the same exact problem, as an example. I'm not sure what could be causing this, but it's an issue affecting many assets for character models, so I hope they actually take thorough note and fix it.
