Late Chaotic Review - Good

Hey I just wanted to give my 2 cents here. Overrall I really enjoyed content like Chaotic. I was expecting more of a raid than just a boss fight but overrall it was content I really liked.

For reference to the type of player I am I do raid but I don't consider myself a perfectionist. I don't necessarily really get into things like optimization unless needed etc.. I just farm loot and go for clears.

From fresh to clear in PF it took 2 afternoons. About 4 hours each give or take. I had to ask strangers hosting parties for links to the strats and get familiar with them a bit before beginning. I also did not go in with friends or as a part of any discord.

In terms of personal difficulty, I did not find it a hard fight but the amount of people having to get things right or we all died was the challenge. This was okay to me, after all the raid is supposed to be challenging.

During our clear run I had to LB 3 (healer) because over half my party had died in phase 2 and we still managed to beat the DPS check. We had a mix of very good people and other people who don't even raid savage and were newer.

The least enjoyable part of the ordeal was that PF is famous for quitters after 1 or 2 tries and makes the entire alliance have to back out and refill, at which point more people get frustrated and leave. Nothing can be done about that. - My personal tip, make sure you have time and stay the course. Be encouraging to others.

So overall I think it was a very welcome addition. I wanted to drop this here because sometimes only the negative feedback makes it and then developers think no one likes this stuff, so I just wanted to give a thumbs up to this type of content.

Oh, on the bad feedback:
-Don't drop this on christmas lol, I had visitors and could get to it until this week, I feel sad I missed out on the initial hype. Not a huge deal though.

I think most of the negative feedback was because people jumped into this content too early without there being any guides out. The majority of people struggle with solving mechanics and don't have patients for trial & error.

Most of the wipes could have been avoided if raid plans gave tips & tricks that most players aren't aware of.

For example, the ads hitbox is small, you can't be inside the hitbox for spread else you get double hit and die. Stay outside of the boss hitbox (max melee if possible).

For pairs, the bait happens on the 3 closest players. Again, don't be inside the hitbox, and your partner shouldn't hug you if they saw you inside the hitbox else they risk a double bait.

People understand the mechanics, but don't know how to execute them safely. Which leads to deaths before towers.

For the middle players, remember to refresh tiles before or after mechanics, NEVER during. Else you risk killing other players who need to move for mechanics. Follow your raid plan prio.

Following this will easily avoid 80% of the unnecessary deaths & wipes.
