My man, there is an entire months old thread dedicated to whinging about Wuk Lamat and they've been talking about the goofy graph you just posted in there.

Good, it's good that people have been talking about it, I did not see that. But there is a reason people are talking about it, it's not a "dead horse" if it comes to the game's quality dropping substantially, we pay 11 Euro a month, by the way. It's only right we can say what we think. If there is "months old threads dedicated to whinging about Wuk Lamat", maybe there's a reason for that. And why is the graph goofy? Because it shows how bad and forced of a character she is? Lmao

Not to be harsh but isn’t this irrelevant unless a word count of each expansion is done and compared to Dawntrail’s writing? We currently have no evidence to suggest that isn’t a commonality amongst every expansion lol (I bet in Stormblood everyone’s top used word will be ‘Zenos’ or ‘Lyse’. In Heavensward it’ll be ‘Nidhogg’, etc).

Brother, you're getting all pissy about the objectively worst character in the game, it's quite funny.

You are absolutely allowed to say what you think but you are blind, do you not see why there is "months old threads" about Wuk Lamat? Is it cause maybe she's boring? Cause maybe she feels forced? And the graph is goofy because... It shows that she has talked more in 6 months than characters that have been in the game for 11 years?

People don't like her for good reason, she is unlikeable, and FORCED, which is worse than the former.

Interesting how Wuk Lamat has comparable percentage of total lines to Alphinaud in HW, both little more than 20%. But DT also has more than twice the total line count to HW, no doubt contributing to the feeling of overexposure some players feel towards her.

I'm surprised that DT has so fewer lines than EW.

Hw has 5912 lines of dialogue.
That means if we compare entire HW MSQ to Wuk Lamats yapping 3077

Wuk Lamat has half the lines of every character in all of HW.

Also if we take ARR which is 50 levels it takes all 6 Scions including Minfilia AND Alphinaud to arrive at a number close to Wuk Lamats blabbering.

Wuk Lamat isn't even in my top five. No one is taking G'raha's or Alisaie's place up there for me.

I'm just also not a whiny child who is still crying over a perfectly innocuous video game character half a year later. You're not bringing anything new to the table. CS3 already knows how people feel about the character and have discussed it. You're also not acknowledging how the scripts and cut scenes for these expansions get longer and longer as time goes on, making a comparison like this skewed in favor of a particular argument. Or how a name being said isn't actually indicative of very much.

Isn’t that in terms of ‘how much they speak’ and not ‘what they’re speaking about?’. Looks to me like Dawntrail literally just CTRL+F’d ‘Wol’ and replaced it with ‘Wuk Lamat’. Every expansion ‘WoL’ is mentioned around 240-260 times(except ARR where it’s mention a whole 610 times lol), then in Dawntrail ‘Wuk Lamat’ is mentioned around 260 times.
So if we’re unhappy that ‘people are all talking about her’ shouldn’t be also be unhappy at how often they talk about us over other characters? Like, I’d say this has been a problem with their writing since the start.

If the argument is ‘Wuk Lamat is too important’ or whatever then uh yeah, there’s quite a few threads about that already. We already know writers done an objectively awful job.
we also know Yoshi has specifically said she’s coming back for more development in future lol
