I prefer a single reset day.
already enough different timers to track, Tuesday is easy enough for weeklies

Most of what I'm seeing is is the usual. (Usual high end attitude frankly)
"I'm alright jack. It works for me and my goals. Your talking about other goals"
There isn't even glimmer of 'it would be nice to join other people for their content'
In fact it seems to be the usual high end min/max attitude of 'this is optimal for me' (I'm leaving if we haven't hit prog point on second pull.)
There aren't that many different types of content.
I find it hard to believe that players who deal with all the BS involved in prep for high end, can't cope with Ultimate Tues, Savage Wed, Unreal thus, (week after month after year)
It incredible how rarely the 'make an effort' attitude actually manifests.
But I did ask.
It's a waste of time anyway. Most high end seem to be min/maxers, and they are not ever in their heart of hearts going to want to join a casual in alliance or normal, much less have one in an unreal, when they can go to PF and maybe get a fellow savage.
Oh well. I did ask.
I was just expecting problems other than "effort - bothered much - nothing in this for me"
Not even a denial of the proposed benefit. It just sends to be "yeah, doesn't help me, ergo not a factor I consider"
It's no good expecting people to bring each other together though. It's up to the game to come up with something.
Just ban PF premades from all rewards! Comrades, we will make everyone use the raid finder! XD

> asks to change timers to something tedious
> gets upset that people call it tedious
Ngl I understand the concept of extending playtime and trying to make people log in and do different things on different days but there's really no point in getting mad when the business team wants to respect your time and reset a majority of things on the same day.
And out of all the responses so far, maybe 2 can be considered "high end" responses. The rest just said weeklies and that applies to a wide breath of activities.
sounds needlessly convoluted
you don't need to drum up your us vs them narrative with high end raiders and casuals just because people seemingly don't like your idea
the only benefit I can see is the point made about a bonus being made to extremes, one I've seen brought up before because of the addition of the chaotic raid and the bonuses it offers to players
The issue is less that everything resets on the same day and more that players contort their weekly schedules around whenever SE decides resets should happen, even when it's not really necessary. The exception is Savage, because you need to clear each floor in order each week.
The weekly reset for a majority of things is fine because it's easy to coordinate ones personal life outside of FF around that. The only thing where this isn't really the case would be current savage floors pre echo/unlock since you're essentially on a rolling timer to clear 4 floors ASAP before a certain date/time.
I can't blame players with that mindset under certain conditions, For example - if they've been waiting in PF for 3 hours arranging a P4s P2 ACT 4 practice and the team can't even do the very first mechanic on phase 1 over several attempts then something needs to be addressed on what is going wrong and the people who have been waiting that long are testing their own patience even further. If it were another circumstance where someone leaves after 2 pulls in a blind learning party that says "FROM START" then it's the individuals own fault for having extremely unrealistic expectations when joining such a party.
Not everyone is like that of course, based on the parties I've played in PF when people are transparent on what the issue is that is preventing progress people tend to be more patient and considerate about what's going wrong - as well as some parties just being a nice vibe overall that the prog almost becomes secondary because everyone's having a good time. I'd say the most patient people are "prog helpers" who have already cleared the fights.
Anyway - In my case, the current reset affecting a majority of things is more convenient because I can pace out how I play each content flexibly with others. I usually don't end up touching the current alliance raid until nearing the end of the week or do a late clear on Monday evening.
Adding a convoluted reset system would be a terrible idea. As for OP's response? Well, some people just don't respond well when the balloon that their head is wrapped in gets pricked and all the hot air starts coming out.
