Probably if we keep seeing the same poor quality of writing for the rest of dawntrail and 8.0 and population keeps continuing to dip even with 8.0's release I could see a possible dalamud 2.0

Yes please. It could give a second chance to retire the scions and start a new story from scratch without having to complete hours upon hours of MSQ as a new player.

Dark humor aside, the problem with Dawntrail isn't Tural or Wuk Lamat, it's the people behind it. No matter how many Dalamuds you throw, if they continue on then they'll make another Dawntrail and another Wuk Lamat.

Sharlayan explodes because they made a supernuke or something, because they are so super special awesome and can invent everything. It ruins the world and the Twelve's prayer machine rebuilds the world, everything gets wiped with new continents and people and we get Realm Reborn Reborn, with a new engine, and better writers and more budget.
