FC Crest placements on the new Chaotic Gear is depression.

Look, I don't come on the forums often. I don't like complaining here because nothing I feel like is ever heard, but only by the streamers who come here to read with "chat" and bash potentially so I am just going to go right to my main point. Leave this here and not reply. I'll let you guys ramble, but just take my complaint for what it is at a gain of sand.

Why are FC Crest placements in really lazy spots? Why can't we control the size and position of them? I know its a REALLY old system. I know this. I get it, No one in the Dev team wants to work on old GC/FC content. FAIR OK. But why is it that earrings I wear as a Lalafell are bigger than my FC Crest on the new fending chestpiece from the Chaotic?



Better yet, Why not let us put an FC Crest on the front? As BARE and clear that the front of the chestpiece is, You mean to tell me the devs thought the perfect spot was to make the placement the back and made smaller, but not dead center on the chest or on the shoulder? Look, We love the glam. Let us customize it.


Even on shields for PLDs, Most of the time BY DEFAULT the FC Crest get slapped on the inside of the shield at the top. You're never going to look there. It's kinda depressing. The recent EX3 weapons, You guys finally put a Crest on the front, but its so small that I had to highlight it. I almost couldn't find it because I started looking on the inside of the shield and turns out its this tiny spec that looks like a cookie crumb stuck to the shield and thats depressing to me.



Ok, That was my general complaint or feedback.. Call me whatever or say I am nitpicking and complaining or "go install mods then" I'm just irritated by old features implemented into the game that are still in use, but rather poorly. I know some things have been QoL. Like for example, Finally putting timers on the party lists buffs because eventually more complicated mechanics are gonna be made so players should really be able to see each others buff timers. (Ex:P6S cachexia, but your not able to tell who is messing up in real time their positioning.), but I think its time to give this some proper attention. What do you all think? Why ignore this like its dead customization?

Bumping this cause i was able to confirm it with my own set. Why on earth does this crest go at the back where u cant even see it and so tiny nobody would notice it.

I know I wasn't going to reply, but this bump is giving me hope. We as a community need to sit down and talk about the FC Crest placement system.

I honestly forgot that crest placement system exists, partly due to it applying like how your gear looks in those screenshots - it may as well be invisible.

Crests don't even show inside duties or outside your home world.
There's essentially no point in using them.
