Hi everyone,
I would like to ask something about scaleable difficulty in content such as Hamlet Defence and similar gameplay situations.
As is stands right now you can only attend with a full group of 8.
And while the same does not hold true to the newly implemented Skirmish, I've been already told by my LS mates that you don't really need to attempt it with less than 8 people (though, I may be wrong on that as I haven't tried it out myself).
To be blatantly honest, I find that unacceptable for obvious reasons and hope that this will be addressed come v2.0.
While I'm totally fine with story missions and the like requiring 8 members, it's hard to understand the reason for such a mechanic in content mentioned above. It's spammed content and the moment someone leaves and you can't find a replacement immediatly you're either forced to quit or stand around waiting while your leader (or whoever) tries to find a replacement.
A better approach, in my humble oppionion, would be to reduce the reward (GC seals or whatever) at the end but let us continue playing.
Well, that basically covers it.
What does the community think?
Has something like that already been mentioned?
Will we be able to replace gone members with our chocobo pet? (I really like that one)
