Received a Broken Statue for Christmas

So I order the Zodiark/ Hydaelyn statue for Christmas (well my parents did but through my account) and yea- statue was broken. However square will do nothing about it because it's outside of their 3 day received window.
It was recieved in November BUT wasn't allowed to be opened prior to Christmas. (Hell i got hell for opening the box to get the emote code).

So to anyone paying a gift for anyone going to buy a gift for someone else/ their kid through the square enix store- don't because unless your willing to opened it and fully go over to make sure there is no defect- the square store will tell you to bad so sad outside the "3day window."

So it was a Christmas gift, but one you knew was coming but wasn't allowed to open it?
I get the meaning, but it's not like it was going to be a surprise

That's legit a bummer that they spent that much money to get you a statue and its broke., atleast you got an emote so you can float there menacingly. (this is a joke to lighten the mood. Legit bs they can't refund or exchange so you get a new one)

Unfortunate. I hope it was at least thoroughly padded with bubble wrap with FRAGILE written all over it, because it being broken suggests otherwise.

I wouldnt be surprised if there are people that try to use this as excuse, when they broke it themself.

Anyway, you should have checked it when it arrived, it was your responsibility
