Mogstation purchasing gifts

I know the issue with why Gifting players mounts, minions etc. have been removed for the time being, but is there any other way to gift a Mogstation mount to someone now?

I've been looking it up online and people are saying you can/can't give them Crysta, or Crysta codes, or you'd just have to Paypal them the money now?
I read they were making it tradable with friends only but would that mean? You'd have to purchase the mount then trade with the playing In-game? Is it a thing that's available now or is it still in the works?

You have to be friends with them for a certain amount of time. Then when you're buying the item, you'll get to the end and it will ask you who on your friends list should get the item.

Unless they changed something, I thought the restriction was only on one-time use items, such as mounts and minions. Costumes aren't restricted.

If you wish to give someone a mount or minion then you would need find a way to give them the money so they can buy it for themself.

I don't see the option to actually gift them an item? I know the Gift item button is greyed out but adding it to cart only gives me the option to buy it for myself.

Unless it has changed, this is the full list of things you can/cannot gift, or rather what I remember are the things you can/cannot gift since I don't pay much attention to mogstation store shit.

Cannot Gift Anymore
- Mounts
- Emotes
- Orchestrion Rolls
- Minions
- Face Paints
- Chocobo Bardings
- Fashion Accessories

Can Still Be Gifted
- Costume sets/Weapon/Armor Cosmetics [Glamours]
- Furnishings/housing items
- Fantasia
- Story skips/boosts
- Dyes

Unfortunately due to the changes, there is no way really to gift things like minions or mounts anymore unless you just flat out give real money to your friends so they can buy it themselves, and for the things that can still be gifted through the store, you can only gift them to people who are in your friends' list if I recall correctly.
