They're asking for an easier Savage. What doesn't make sense about it? While I personally don't want an easier Savage fight 'less it be considered Extreme instead, I can understand it pretty easily. This is their reasoning. They are arguing for a savage tier fight to not have body checks, be less punishing for sprout raiders and make it more easily clearable in PF by nerfing aspects of the fight.
How does that make sense to do such for Savage-tier content when the devs already confirmed it would be of such difficulty?

So basically they don't want savage, they want a normal alliance raid. Well we have those already, what's the issue again?

BA is much more punishing with ozma by just porting everyone out of the arena, if 1 person is missing in a tower... or the lightnings that wipe entire groups if they go off in the party
The difficulty is fine, its lower than sphene ex mechanic-wise and a LOT of stuff is recoverable. You can even cheese the hardest part with tank lb. For the single individual, the mechs are much easier than any savage fight, theres almost nothing to pay much attention to
its called chaotic for a reason, not Syrcus Tower.v2

I'm sorry you haven't noticed, but they've been talking about wanting to create more challenging content in the game for a while.it was only confirmed to be savage at the very last minute in a passing remark by mr ozma. it was never advertised as such on the keynotes. and the majority of the community agrees its a far to heavy ask of the party finder. i don't understand why everything needs to be baby's first dungeon or "ill give you special cells" what we wanted was BA level content. what we've got is another delubrum reginae savage
Ok but the first thing he said was "gona be real this fight is ridiculous. please nerf some of the brutally punishing mechanics like no time to react on aeros/death or death debuff and also the absurd body checks"
This immediately tells me he doesn't even understand one of the earliest mechanics of the fight. These mechanics are not something you react to. They're something you know is coming based on a cast that happens 30-60 seconds previously. it's extremely basic stuff. He also cleared the fight in 3 hours. It's obviously not that hard. This whole point is ridiculous.
Aside from the chasing AoE that can be unrecoverable and missing more than two towers, I don't see any "body check" mechanic.
I don't think this fight needs a nerf. Mechanics are not hard at all, the only challenge is the number of player, even if they marketed this fight as "High end", I've seen a lot of unexperimented people on this fight, mainly because it is not locked behind something, because it's a 24 man raid, and people might thought "my mistake does not count because there is a lot of players that can make up mines". I think they should just lock this behind the extreme or something like that. Sprouts should not be on a "savage-like" fight
Now the real enemy is the bonus time. This thing sucks. Aside from the ungodly timing, why am I not guarantee a drop? Why can someone get all 8 materias? THIS thing should get reworked

Locking it behind current Extreme will go against part of what they said they wanted to do, though. Ignoring how they fully intended this to be an Extreme level encounter.Aside from the chasing AoE that can be unrecoverable and missing more than two towers, I don't see any "body check" mechanic.

It was the initial thought. But they back down and marketed it as a "First floor - Second floor savage raid". In this scenario, I think clearing extremes as a requirement should be reasonable, as we're not in the "extreme difficulty" territory anymore

Why? Extreme isn't a requirement for savage.
