I miss him he was a 1.0 dev and it shows he is no longer here as the game has changed so much since EW. I would love to see him back I am unsure if he is in the background?

He was transfered to the FFXVI team from what I understand, and yeah he's still involved with FFXIV in the music side of things with Soken (such as the Primals arrangements). So the ahriman loremaster is still around, he's just not in the localization side of things anymore.

It's part of life, staff members move on, they get promoted or transferred and new people join, for better and for worse.

Yeh its a shame it is the same for my Daughter she has now taken lead artist in her games company and just mostly gives them their work and she is less involved. I would love to see him back though

To be fair, if you were a lore person working on FF14 and had the opportunity to make the next single player game, how would you pass it up? So you can see why he switched over.

Even if he returns focus to FF14, it's also important to train the younger generation and give them a chance to carry the workload so they can learn.

He was still doing stuff. Whenever someone voice acts a dragon, he has to make sure the voice actor did it right because nobody else understands how to speak like a dragon.
