Legacy Chocobo as Companion?

Dunno where to ask, but I have been hoping for the longest time that they would allow me to summon my Legacy Chocobo to fight with me in combat.

Poor thing charred its feathers searching for me during the Bahamuts rage during the end of 1.0, and I would love to use my Legacy chocobo as my companion. Similar to Ardbert and his Seto.

Any GMs who can ask Devs for me if this could become a feature? I would love to see my trusty chocobo by my side during fights

Really it would be nice if we could have all the mounts as companions, but because chocobos are iconic FF companions/mounts, they probably won't do it.

It would be good to have my Legacy chocobo but also others but I doubt they would ever do it. I want my path companion back I miss her so much she was so funny a Lala and I can still see her now helping me through ^O^

Man I asked for this on Day 1. I would LOVE legacy barding or something that reskins your bo to the legacy variant. And i'm not even one of those guys who would get mad that new players get it.

Yeah a Barding would be amazing. I wouldn't mind either of the Barding is available for non1.0.players as I just care about my own chocobo and I know mine is genuine as I also have the Legacy chocobo to ride on
