Shit I need to transfer server to Balmung! ASAP!!#07 - Club Advertisements
Many are sick and tired of seeing the Party Finder filled to the brim with +18 clubs ran by ugly modbeasts who on their spare time stay in Ul'dah Balmung congesting the server with their /beesknees emote, or worse yet, emoteing on top of one another doing things in public I dare not even mention.
After ending the last quest related to MSQ you're ready to stop playing and take a break, not before getting the sub for 1 year and get told by Yoshi to play other games and wait until the new MSQ comes out.
The thing is Dawntrail will have a Eureka / Bozja equivalent but it releases very far into the expansion's lifecycle
I do think that if they shortened the patches so the wait isn't so long between what comes out it would be nice, but it'd likely be even better if content like this was pushed up sooner, at least the first part
Not rocket science. There's nothing to do.

Subbing in FFXIV is like doing a job and you pay for it.
It is crazy that people enjoy this game
One thing I wish they stop doing is drip feeding the little content we got this patch over the course of 4.5 months. Waiting a month for a single hildibrand crafter/gatherer role quest and a weekly crafting/gathering npc to level crafters and chaotic alliance raid isn't enough to last 3 more months until 7.2. And wish they provided more in the first patch of an expansion instead of just a weekly alliance raid and a bunch of weeklies/dailies that are done in 5 minutes once people are done with doing that stuff and getting what they want from it there is hardly any reason to do them once finished.

That is when the true Vana'diel of legend will be reborn.
Unlike other MMO's. FFXIV suffers from its open world being a backdrop for gathering, hunts and fates. One thing I wish they stop doing is drip feeding the little content we got this patch over the course of 4.5 months. The mobs are a joke, you cant farm them for rare drops, rare zone drops, rare world drops, ingredients, exp, the quests are just tiny lorebits instead of giving exp or anything meaningful or area related glams. Theres no giant questlines that end in a secret boss.
It would be nice if they did more with the openworld and various other aspects of the game to make it feel more like an mmo rather then a glorified lobby and give us more of a reason to leave limsa.Unlike other MMO's. It's just like... what is there to care about anymore? I don't care about any of the characters. I don't care what happens to. the world. Like in Stormblood it felt like "Oh wow we're going to free Ala Mhigo from the Garleans" and then Endwalker it was this big crescendo where we're going to fight Garlem-- just kidding here's a mostly empty zone full of snow. I think that was the point at which a lot of people felt let down.
OK, so we're not fighting Garlemald but instead this weird sinister little punk who wants to take over a god and set us up for an epic duel between good and ev---no just kidding, he's toast in one quick and easy boss run. It's like they keep building us up for bigger and bigger things only to snatch it away like a tired old trope. I get that Dawntrail was going to be a clean slate and a fresh beginning but I don't care a bit about Wuk Lamat, Koana, Zsa Zsa Ja Ja or a city full of droids.
We've been strung along to the point where now, content patches are longer, content is dripping in and rewards are lackluster at best. Remember the Starlight Celebration where we got an entire outfit, a minion, a wallpaper, a bunch of interior and exterior decorations, THREE FREAKING CHRISTMAS TREES and a partridge in a pear tree? I'm not saying every event should be like that but it really did feel like we were valued as players and not numbers to power a gluttonous profit wheel where the money and time we invest gets siphoned off for other pet projects.
I know it sounds like "My god if you hate it that much just quit" but it's clear I'm not alone. When they needed our help to keep the game afloat, it was like "Here's a letter from the producer and community interaction and forum updates and investments and rewards that felt worthwhile". Now that we've done our part it's like "Please spend more money on Mog Station. Also no Viera/Hrothgar hats".
"We want bunny suits for guys!" -- OK! ✅
"We want Ishgard housing!" -- OK! ✅
"We want Viera!" -- OK! ✅
"We want Cloud's motorcycle!" -- OK! ✅
"We want Blue Mage!"-- OK! ✅
"We want the ability to earn past Feast rewards!" - HAHA no that's sacred.
Not less content. Just the content being spaced out poorly. Chaotic is exactly where it should be. The problem is that the casual long term content is released 1 year after the expansion launch.
