Go back to being the advanced Tank Job and not the fell cleave bot. More OGCDs than just 1 with a gap closer and recquired Inner Release. If you want me to be the "HP tank" make it matter in some interesting way.

Go back to being the advanced Tank Job and not the fell cleave bot. More OGCDs than just 1 with a gap closer and recquired Inner Release. If you want me to be the "HP tank" make it matter in some interesting way.
I guess if I had to rethink those parts, I'd:
* Entire 1-2-3 combo of DRK lowered in potency but each produces a short DoT that drains HP to the DRK.
* AoE 1-2 combo accordingly.
* Unique defensive buffs changed to reduce damage only slightly, instead they produce such DoTs on enemies attacking you.
* Bloodspiller and Quietus changed to consume 3s of DoT from each enemy hit if possible, producing both the damage and the healing. Base damage lowered to compensate.
* Oblation removed.
* The +10% damage buff no longer exists. It is now automatic whenever attacking a target that has 2+ of your DoTs on it.
* The Darkness moves are now used solely to bleed excess mana into extra damage.
* 60s CDs consume all DoTs and apply a mana draining DoT wtih damage dealt scaled to the DoTs consumed.
* Living Shadow produces its own DoTs, but they drain to you of course.
* Living Dead is now a passive. Whenever you hit 0HP, you briefly get a "delayed death" buff. This will kill you in 2-3 seconds if you don't press the button first (to make it more obvious do the heartbeat effects + everything goes black&white except your character!). If you do, you consume the buff (so you don't die), set yourself to 0HP, cannot take damage and get a negative shield on you. If at the end of the buff you still have 0 HP, you are of course dead. Healing has to first heal the negative shield. CD adjusted to account for the reactive instead of proactive nature.
* You'd take more damage than other tanks, but also have a constant barrage of incoming self-healing. Not like Warrior where it's every 25s, you rapidly reheal all the damage you suffer so long as you get to attack. Like a zombie, blow the head off entirely as any smaller hits won't stop you at all. And you can survive one such big hit safely every few minutes, if with some healer burden (that you normally avoid).
Warrior:
* Most current self-healing removed. Instead those abilities now apply stackable shields, stronger than the current healing by a small amount.
* As long as you keep adding to this super-shield, the duration keeps refreshing, so if you had a short break in damage intake, your EHP would be extremely high.
