This is a mechanic in the new Chaotic Raid,

the names of the cast are reversed in english and german, which causes a lot of confusion.

In English when the boss casts "Core-Lateral" you stand in front of it first to be save, but in german it is "Lateral-Zentral" which is reversed.

So actually the english name is wrong in this case, it tells you where the save spot is, but in german it tells you where the boss is attacking.

The localization in this game is always a mess, but can you at least give Boss mechanics the same names in all languages?

This is also a problem in Ultimate Bahamut at the very end with Nael, where her quote is wrong in german so she dios the wrong mechanic from what she is saying (but it is correct in english), i have mentioned this a long time ago here, but it was closed as "not an error"

I wondered about this and thought it was very strange. They did mention there were minor text issues but I'm not sure if it was specifically referring to this.

I hope that someone sees this but it's hit and miss if they remember things from here. The Tank Mastery trait has been incorrect since Shadowbringers release.

It would be worth posting this in bug reports as well – more emphasis on "English terms are the wrong way around" probably – and maybe they can get it fixed when they next do hotfixes.

I'm mildly curious what other languages say for Centerstage Combo and Outerstage Combo in M2S. Those also tell you where the initial safe spot is, not where the boss is initially attacking.

In this case the Outer stage combo is the same in german, but this ability does not say Inside>Out combo , it only tells you one of two patterns, so you can debate if that is right or wrong here.

(Outer/äußere = Out save first)
