what a shame, considering their halloween outfit was actually pretty nice. guess whoever made that possible was locked in a closet or something, 'cause we're right back to business as usual.

Business as usual, in the sense that it's always been like this. Each year will generally have a few events that stand out as being decently rewarding, while others in that same year end up being a disappointment.

Basically this. It'd be nice to have a reason to interact with the event outside of the short story quests. For example, they have a fate/gate/fete system that they could've dropped in that starlight stalls area.

Are you for real Square? The next event was one of them which always had some kind of glamour and even there we get now only a minion? Im usually a really chill person but this event was one of the most hyped ones for me, the last costume we get there and the one before were so great and now this shit?

We usually just got a stupid helmet. New years events used to be one of the weakest events.

The helmets were based on the chinese zodiac. But we have completed the circle once, we have all 12 helmets. Just seems fitting to get a matching pet from now on. Even if I am not sure I agree with SEs definition of a "snake". Well it also looks like a Mochi, so whatever.

(Jokes aside, it is one of those events that kinda jumped and lowered. First the 12 Helms with nothing to match it with unless you're a Samurai. then the Glamour everyone can use, and no one can use unless they are there when it released/cash shop. And Likely NEVER EVER USE WITH THE INTENDED HELMETS.

To the now Minions representing the Animal of the year.

Which isn't really that bad.

If we had expected more, maybe alternative versions of the "Samurai Animal" Glamour to match the expansion. but that's both extra work for again, more peoples beliefs that it should be something else.)

We honestly could of had it worse.

At least it isn't Animal Exclusive Dye that can only be gotten for free this one event.
