Don't do chaotic raid again

Are you seriously confused about how I can dislike the design of the 24 man content but still want more gearing options? These are two completely separate things.

I don't care where the gear comes from, as long as there are more max item level options to choose from. Before Chaotic gear, healer BiS was 727, which was awful. With the addition of Chaotic gear, healer BiS is now 730. It's the same for tanks - I've been able to drop tenacity on the body piece in favor of a more useful stat.

More gearing options are beneficial and healthy for players who care about optimizing their performance. There's no reason to be against this.

Putting the very best gear in bad, unpopular content makes no sense. If anything, it's decreasing the chances of improvement in said content, as more people will be playing it despite complaining, and despite it being released on Christmas day. This is why Chaotic gear should be at best the same thing as Savage, until they figure out if the community likes it or not.

One can be in favor of more gearing options while also wanting Chaotic to have the same substats as Savage, or worse. It's pretty simple. In my opinion, Chaotic gear should be in normal content that has been popular for years, the 24-man Alliances, which were always 10 ilvls behind 8-man Savage for no reason.

Also i recommend not interacting with the people in the posts. Most XIV players don't understand the flaws with the game, and will Defend SE to no end even if they're spit in the face by SE, they'll still look for a way to say SE did nothing wrong.

I don't really think the content is bad or unpopular. I see multiple pfs up and filling at pretty much all times of day on Primal, despite us still being in the period of the year where people are traveling the most and therefore least able to play 14. Regardless, putting BiS pieces in the Chaotic gives more people more incentives to run it and keep it from being the "dead content" some people seem to be writing it off as.

The playerbase has shown it cannot handle 24 man content when it's even simple stuff like regular alliance raids

The simple fact is the average PF player is not consistent enough for content of this size.
The average PF player is barely consistent enough for 8 man content. Put 24 of them in a group together, and you can guarantee that at least one person every pull is going to mess up and snowball things into a wipe.
It's really not fun at all.

And have some nice lore to it like how bozja connects to the GNB background and what happened after you unite Doma and see some familiar faces. Personally I want another bozja area explaining the past of like zodiark and hydalyn or something else

It's actually because Christmas won't affect their sales figures while competing with Elden Ring on expansion launch would.

RE: the rest of your post - unreal, extreme and savage are firmly midcore content. I don't consider anything other than ultimate to be specifically hardcore content. I know a lot of people who aren't particularly good at or invested in the game and they still clear savage. It takes them months of raiding one or two nights per week to get it done, but they get it done eventually.

I think what you're referring to is casual content? And I agree, there isn't really enough of it. You just get cut and paste beast tribes, a hildy quest and eventually an exploration zone if you somehow managed to stick out the first year of the expansion while having absolutely nothing to do.

I just want to add ontop it does take others at different speeds to learn ultimates. 2 patches after TOP came out I got my first ever ultimate cleares. But that's after 6 months of learning mechanics. Intentionally failing mechanics so people see the results and also irl stuff si had 2 hours a night to practice. Again not being a dick just wanted to add ontop

Real talk, I agree. The Chaotic was supposed to be an Alliance raid, not a 24 person Savage trial.

Having got a few clears now I'm going to remain a dissenting voice here, I want another chaotic raid, I don't know if I necessarily want it to be quite as hard as phase two of this one has been but the biggest problem I have with chaotic is the people who join parties past their prog point. If you are at the start of phase two but there are no p2 prog PFs, make your own, don't join a clear PF and people won't get angry with you.
