I absolutely love this fight and cannot wait for the next one. They have got the difficulty balance just right. It's honestly my favourite bit of content that they have added since Balesian Arsenal.

I like the chaotic raid. What I don't like is people bailing on the PF after 5 minutes like where are you going bro they're all the same, that other one is looking for a healer too it's not gonna fill up first.

The worst part is when people bail while the group is actually progging the content that it wants to progg.
Like... why join in the first place?
This is the worst PF experience I had in a long while.

Oh i can answer that one. It's because they haven't actually been there yet. So they join parties that are a step ahead, then once you get to that point, they jump to a party that's at the next point.

I'm going to be extremely selfish and say that I want them to stop, because I don't want them to make more of those trial bosses in a circular arena with the same mechanics again and again. If this is the extent of the creativity this game has to show for, then I'd rather have that content crash and burn so they actually start working on other things. We don't need more ex/savage clones.

The arena is circular for about 30 seconds before it changes shape. Phase 3, which is like 60% of the fight, is as far from circular as you can get.

I think the fight is a lot of fun, but overtuned just a bit. People keep asking who this fight is for, and I believe the answer is A) People struggling to clear M3S and M4S who want some extra or slightly better 730 gear, and B) midcore and hardcore players who enjoy challenging content for its own sake. I think it definitely succeeds on the second front, but fails a bit on the first. The mechanics aren\\\\'t that hard (between EX and savage 2 difficulty, though I would say the majority of them don\\\\'t even reach the difficulty of some of Black Cat\\\\'s mechanics). Most of them are literally recycled from a first floor savage fight. But they can be very punishing, and deaths often snowball and are hard to recover from. I would say the fight is about as punishing as a savage 3 fight and requires some skills and strategies that are very unusual for this game (namely the way the parties are split up in phase 2).
A death in the middle requires a raise from the healer in the east group (or rdm/smn) since bodies spawn there after falling off, and then the raised player has to teleport into the middle in their original group while not interfering with outside mechanics or teleporting into a bad spot, which means sometimes you\\\\'re dying, waiting for someone in another alliance to notice you and raise you, then you\\\\'re running all the way over to west side to tp in if that\\\\'s your position. An over eager raiser in the middle can accidentally pull an extra person from the outside in there an cause chaos, even if that person is in their party. There\\\\'s autos often going out on all 6 tanks in p2, meaning if any tank dies, there\\\\'s no backup and the dps are getting picked off until they can get up. The towers, while not hard, are very strict and require that all 24 people be alive, or else any one death starts cascading into a bigger problem.
Personally I think there should only be 18 tower soaks, 2 in each corner in the middle and 5 on east and west to allow a bit of leeway. I think the way healing in alliances works also adds to the frustration and a bit of jank in this fight. As a healer you\\\\'ll often want to be covering for people outside of your party in p2, but the vast majority of your kit doesn\\\\'t work on players out of party. You have your two basic single target heals and that\\\\'s it, which can be frustrating if things start going wrong in one group and you\\\\'re trying to help triage to recover.
Again, no individual thing in this fight is very hard by non-normal mode standards. You have ins and outs, stacks and spreads, half room cleaves, breaking tethers, clock spots and partners, gazes, flares, all the usual mechanics you see in an EX or Savage 1. But the strictness and lack of leeway for mistakes at times I think makes this fight fail at being a bridge from m2 to m3.
All that said, again I really enjoyed the fight and the reward structure and I look forward to seeing what they do next with the format.

They shouldn't do another Chaotic raid that's as difficult as this first one.
They should do a harder one.
